As mentioned, the 2020 XC90 is available in both 235hp diesel and 250hp petrol engine variants.
Both come with a 48-volt, ‘KERS’ kinetic energy system and ‘ISG’ integrated starter-generator. This can store electricity every time the driver brakes or takes their foot off of the accelerator.
The XC90 comes in three different trims, these being Momentum, R-Design and Inscription.

I bought a B5 to tow my caravan, it does a great job. The car is very easy to drive , you soon forget how big it is until you wash it. Because Volvo are dropping the diesel this will probably be my first & last Volvo which is unfortunate as I love the car.
The sunglasses holder is the wee cubby at your right knee. One thing that I think is sadly lacking in a 7 seat car is usb charging points. You only get 1 as standard, you one more if you speck Apple CarPlay.
Btw you guys need to get your facts right , an older chap died in an xc90 mk2 last year.
Much better then Land Rover, BMW,Mercedes and Audi
Nice video. Here's a correction. The original xc90 is not based on "Ford-derived engineering." The original xc90, a very celebrated vehicle in its day, was built on Volvo's P2 platform developed before Ford's acquisition. The Ford platforms debuted with the s40 of 2005, s80/v70 2 EUCD platform, and first generation s60/xc60 platform. The first of those cars was introduced in 2005.

The latest model T8 PHEV now has a fuel tank of 70L (up from the 50L you quoted).
