Fiets Elfstedentocht 2024 (English)

Monday 20 May 2024 I rode the "Elfstedentocht", or the "Eleven City Tour" in Friesland, in the north of the Netherlands. It's a 235 km cycling ride, based on a famous ice skating ride of similar length. And what a ride it was. People cheering in almost every village, cyclists in strange outfits, even people on rental bikes from the train station or on a velocipede.
