But they proved that the impossible is possible.
This is a tribute to the eight remaining Big Boy's and the ones that have had their whistles silenced forever. 4014 proves that their memory won't go Speechless.

To anybody who has not seen 4014 in person you have to see her in person I saw her in person in Duluth Minnesota in the moment I saw her I was an absolute awe! To hear about this true legend half my life and I’m 33 and I finally got to see her my mom and dad took me up to Duluth to see her and the moment I saw her she was hot and under steam! I got to see into her cab it was just plain awesome! At the event they blew the whistle a couple of times and the first time I heard that Hancock three chime whistle go off it’s sent chills down my spine and the hair on the back of my neck stood up it is possibly the best steam whistle ever! It sucks that they canceled the steam season this year because of COVID-19 but very understandable she will be back next year along with the 844!

@@TheRaceboi 4017 was the first big boy that I’ve seen myself! You can actually get into her cab! And sit in the engineers seat and put your hand on the throttle!

Out of the 25 Big Boy locomotive built, only 8 survived. If I was to be come a chacter in Thomas and Friends and I had choose ONLY one locomotive to be, it would the Big Boy. LONG LIVE THE BIG BOY!!!!!

Nice that you showed the other preserved big boy locomotives on display in the video and i sure can't wait to see 4014 myself in person once its heads to southern California in October since I don't live in the states its currently going through although I do have family in Minneapolis , Minnesota but I don't have anytime to see 4014 in person will its on its 30 day trip aro8nd most of the Midwest and I proably won't get a chance to see it upclose until October because of my summer job with metro. But I hope that when I see 4014 myself once its in southern California this October I bet I'll have a great time and I also hope if I'm lucky I can meet mr Dickens and get my 4014 hat signed from him and thank him for making this happen and making great history and how I first learned about him which is kind of a shook I've know him since I'm childhood from a tv show i saw as a child that had 844 in it. Back to 4014 i probably might not be able to get to ride behind 4014 once its in Californa this October since my mom told me this morning that someone who rode it while its was Iowa that just 1 hour of a ride cost him 4,000 dollars insane right!!!!! But hopefully if it's not expensive I can get a ride behind 4014 if not I'll still see it, take some up close pictures of it and chase it and film it when it's passes a crossing hopefully once October hits this will be one of the best parts of 2019 for me since my visit to the railgiants train museum back in February and my visit to the Fillmore and western railway in April for its annual railfest event and riding behind Fillmore and western 14 and I might just go back agian in time for labor day weekend
