You shouldn’t ever open the relief valve. It is not meant to be manually opened and may not seat when closed. Open a faucet to hot to alow air in to drain the tank
If people would drain there water heaters twice a year you would not get any sediment built up. But 99% of people neglect to do it, then 7 years later the tank has sediment 1/4 way up in tank. Then its pretty much to late to flush it because the anode rid is destroyed and you jeopardized the glass liners.
Outstanding great work I would like to get my hands on that turbo water heater tool I just order one!!!
Whoever put them water heaters in the attic should get a kick in the back side that is ridiculous!!
