The Clayton & Cameron Show I think the whistle was just worn out, it was its original 1917 Baldwin 3 chime after all lol. 83 years is a lot of use for a whistle lol
@@mattdotsonrailfanproductio266 It wasn't worn out, it was damaged. It had hit the roof of a shed causing it to sound the way that it did. Thankfully said damage was repaired.

Yes, it had been dented and was also just worn out, because it is the original whistle it wore after all.

When did they fix the whistle?
They likely fixed 12s whistle in 1999 during her overhaul
If the whistle was broken, then I wouldn't have blown it.
