3:00 The E40 is the mid-spec RWD with the 83 kw/h battery. The M50 is the AWD top spec trim with the same battery but also a front motor taking up that empty slot under the bonnet.
I got mine in May this year 2024 there's only 1 charging cable not 3, and climate control is rubbish with auto aircon on all the time, turning it off means turning all airflow at the front off. No sound in my car on startup, I've never had the car in sports mode yet, no problems with steering, plenty of people do look at the car. I like the auto braking, especially with regenerative braking, on turning a corner the car will begin braking itself, no BMW card for charging, I have to charge 3 times a week at home, the car uses 4% battery power for approx 10 miles, I charge at home, after I reach 65% I recharge to 80% but it will lose 1% within a single mile. All in all it is a good car, fast enough for me, is it money well spent at over £53,000 time will tell. The car has many apps most of which I still have not got around to checking, In San Remo Green the car looks stunning. Thanks for the video.
I have the 2025 alpine white eDrive40, it’s an entry level model, and I don’t have the 360degree camera. Over all I enjoy the drive of my new 2025 i 4.
@@4wheelsandaseat I just can't get over that they decided to include seat heating, but no lumbar support...in Australia. At least in QLD I could definately do without seat heating 🙂

I really like it too. Thanks for watching!
First time I have seen your Channel mate-you do a very good job!
Thank you very much for watching!
Very entertaining video. I will probably buy the e35 😊.
You should! It's a really good car and great value. Thanks for watching!
@@4wheelsandaseat ordered it a month ago.
From the same price range and features, is there any other car to compare to this one?
Nearest competitors that I have driven would be the Polestar 2 and Tesla Model 3.
Did you really like the seats? there is no lumbar support at all. Basically flat, which gave me a back ache after less than 30 min test drive.
I liked them, but everybody's different. I can't fit in some cars that other people who are taller than me can.

❤️God Bless All Much Love To All Be Blessed To All For Real❤️
Why does a vehicle that doesn't need a grille have the ugliest grille around?
best value and bmw usually dont go together, expensive cars
Very true, but as luxury EVs go it is better value than most.
Is it a 100% electric car?
Yes it is.
I think it looks dated. For the price 6 seconds to 100km is not fast any more. Hyundai IONIQ 5 goes faster... and further LOL.
True. I quite like it though. Thanks for watching!
Too heavy.
My Hyundai Ioniq 5 is faster, charges faster and is cheaper. It’s my first Hyundai coming from BMWs for the last 10 years.
The Ioniq 5 is a great car, but personally I prefer the i4. It just ticks every box for me. Thanks for watching!
60k for 400km range... Thats just highway robbery imo
In winter you won’t pass 250 km and summer probably 300-320 tops
You did a review of a car thats outdated 😅😅
Well it's the latest model available in Australia...
…and lots of people watch reviews before buying used.
Way too much sucking up. Just tell us whqt you really feel pros and cons. Thus is just a whole vidoe of suckijg up to the car
What can I say - I really liked the car and it is very good value.
