Had a fantastic day fishing with my son! Around 150 crappie brought to hand using JDM UL rods made for a whole lot of fun. Both of us were using Trout Magnets..Sow Bug and Bison color...Varivas lines used...2# test blue Moon FC and Infinity PE X8 0.2. and before my Eradicator rod broke I was using some 2.3# test ES 2 Lemoni ester. The right tackle just makes all the difference. Video is too long but hope you enjoy watching.

Before the Eradicator broke it looks like it was sending that Trout Magnet with the 1.5g jig way on out there. Bending curve looks similar to the 6.10. Definitely could tell the difference when you started using the Megabass, it seems a little more rigid and you have more control with the fish. Enjoyed the video, a great day!

I also had a TERRIBLE experience with the same vendor. One rod came out of the tube defective - and they would not do anything.

Hey Randy I just bought my first JDM rod thanks to you! I got the Major Craft area rod you recommended. Do you have a reel around 200 that might pair well with it? I have a stradic ci4 I could pair with it, but would love your opinion. I’ve been watching a ton of your videos and learning a ton. Thanks a bunch

Thanks for watching and the kind words. It is hard to find any reel in stock now. I would look for a 1000 size with a shallow spool and low ratio.

Hey brother, I’ve been watching your videos, great stuff. I have been using US ultralights for a few years now, looking to upgrade into a JDM rod, I will mostly be fishing for medium sized bluegill and crappie. I mainly fish with jigs and soft plastics. What would you recommend for the most enjoyment. I will mainly be fishing lakes and ponds, with an occasional trip to a slow current shallow river.
