Had a great 2 hours of catching bluegill at Bald Knob Lake. All fish caught on a Bison Trout Magnet using a Diplomat Extreme area trout rod. Used a Daiwa Ballistic FW reel spooled with Varivas Lemoni 2.3# test Ester line. Jig-head was a 1.5 gram Daiwa Gekkabijin SS TG. Hope you enjoy the video...thanks for watching.

That cork reel seat/handle looks super nice. A friend of mine travels out to the White River every year to trout fish and has told me it is amazing. Looks like that lake has nothing but tank bluegill in it!😮 Wow. Living the dream, my friend.👍🐟

I got into this ultralight bfs fishing and paired a Majorcraft with a Shimano Aldebaran bfs and dropped it when the water took my legs on a decent shoal…goodbye new setup 🤦‍♂️ I still haven’t bought a new setup…

I can atest to that Randy! I don't have your exact rod, but I've got the Carabus 6'6" Light and it is by far my favorite rod to catch fish with! Now, it's only in contest with a major craft and soare xr, but no matter. Btw if you ever run into issues like I did with your Daiwa Presso 21...they've finally got some spart parts circulating in the market, but my local tackle shop found the Daiwa Exist parts worked to fix my Presso's Oscillating Gear! Thanks a bunch for your videos!

Hello and welcome. I have a question about Abu Garcia rods. Some time ago I bought an abu rod from the carabus nano series, I am satisfied with it but I want to give it to my partner and buy another one from the carabus extreme series, but I am also considering buying the older Diplomat Extreme model because it is a bit cheaper than the younger version. My question is: are these two rods any different? Could he ask you for advice? Thank you in advance Peter.

Those rods are the same. In Japan they are marketed as Diplomat Extreme and in Europe as the Carabus.
