Fair play VW, At least slave cylinder on outside of gearbox, real pain when its box out cos of leaking or dodgy cyl n u know clutch is good. Great video as usual, SENT 😊
Ran my old golf through GSF and showed I needed a luk kit. Bought it, went to fit it and the bolt pattern was off on the DMF. Ended up swapping it for a sachs one from same supplier.
Love your channel and your way of working, i am a morocycle mechanic myself but do the od car ones in a while, and the allen key in the flywheel realy smart thinking there baz😊
It’s almost impossible to identify the correct clutch without looking at the brand of flywheel on these! Generally you’d changed the clutch and flywheel and just replace with whatever brand is on the shelf at your chosen supplier and they can send a matching set?
I sometimes wonder who they employ on parts counters some appear to have no clue yrs ago if u went into a place and asked fir something a good parts person would often say the part number back to you now they have a computer and can't get it right

Gentle bit of heat 😂😂😂 great video matey 👌
How different would a VW DSG transmission clutch be to change compared to this??
It's a fair bit different buddy... You know what I've yet to do one
Next video then!
Wrong parts seems to be getting all to common
I’ve been told heating up hub nuts is bad for the bearings/ bearing grease ?

Did this have a dmf? Did you change it?
No solid
Yep, the right parts delivered that don't work. 🤬😡🤬

Baz is it your garage?
Great work Baz, but I wish you’d stop putting parts on the floor! Get some racking or bench. Floor is for dirt and your boots.
I work in public transport parts arrive wrong all the time or sub standard mostly due to someone in the office ordering with no mechanical knowledge.
creamy job!
