I was there, fantastic show. I have seen Maiden about 7 times, and this might be the best one. And one other thing... I think it is physically impossible for Dave to miss a single note..
Not really. Sure, there's a lot of staples the same, but also a lot of different songs in there. Where Eagles Dare, Revelations, For The Greater Good of God, The Wicker Man, Sign of the Cross and Flight of Icarus are all different to the '99 Ed Hunter tour. If you're talking about the Brave New World tour in 2000, we have Aces High and Run to the Hills instead of Wicker Man and Sign of the Cross. When you consider that that's 6 in 16, plus a bunch of songs that they rarely drop, it's fairly different. Plus, the overall structure of the set list is rather different too.
Iron Maiden would never fire Janick Gers. He has done an amazing job in the band since he originally replaced Adrian Smith back in 1989 exactly 30 years ago. Janick has also been a strong cowriter of a good amount of songs since he has been in the band. The thing that some Maiden fans hate about him is his stage performance. It has never bothered me . It always looks like he is having a great time on stage and that is his way of showing it. This is by far the longest lasting lineup Iron Maiden has ever had. Iron Maiden has been my all time favorite band for over thirty years and in my opinion no one can touch them when it comes to playing a live show. This coming July will be my third time seeing them and just by seeing this video I am very excited for the set list . I am looking forward to every song , but songs like Where Eagles Dare, Revelations, The Clansman, For The Greater Good Of God, Sign Of The Cross, and Flight Of Icarus will be my first time seeing them perform those songs. Up The Irons!!!!!
I love Gers, he’s a great guitarist as has been a more constant member than Adrian. I think it shows of a great friendship that they let Adrian back after 10 years, when they had his former spot filled with a great guitarist and stage persona already.

You're gay ?
Will be fantastic when they fire Gers to end up Maiden's history with classic team! only the fives!!!
Moron.
Stupid idiot. He is as much Maiden as Smith is. Deying someone who's been in a band for almost 30 years is just deluded. Pathetic comment
