in 5th grade, a boy who was always considered "the bad kid". I believe he had cognitive problems but he attacked a girl in our class during gym and lifted up her shirt and some of the other boys tried to hold him back, but couldn't bc of the adrenaline. He wasn't suspended but just the teacher yelled at him and he was called to the office a lot that day. Later in the year, some people told me that twice he said I had a nice a$$ and I just pretended it was fine. Don't let anyone get away with this!! I'm in 7th grade now and have not had any other incidents, but wanted to raise awareness!

I remember in 3rd grade we did a sitting arrangement I was sitted next to a boy and he was making me uncomfortable like sniffing me and other stuff with my other boy seatmates too my 2nd seatmate was absent at that time so I changed seats with the absent student and putted the bag in the middle which is my seat. And we were only 8 YEARS OLD.
Bro... He seriously said: "get over it already🙄" LIKE DO YOU KNOW HOW UNCOMFORTABLE IT IS FOR ALL OF US!???? Like one day I was putting books to my teacher office and when I went back I went past a boy (standard 6) he was a pervert all around the school. He picks girls everytime. And when I went pass him he whistle on me and I WAS SO UNCOMFORTABLE WITH IT so like keep quiet 😒

I said to my male therapist that I’m uncomfortable when I get cat called while walking home and he told me that I should take it as a compliment that guys like me so much they can’t control themselves I can confirm I don’t have a therapist anymore 😂
i'm a thirteen year-old girl, my mom is very protective for her own reasons so the only time i'm really walking alone is to or from my bus stop, but even then i'm super afraid. i've never been catcalled or SA'd that i can remember but i feel terrible that i can't comfort people about their experiences properly. i'm grateful that i haven't experienced that yet, i just wish i knew how to properly comfort the people that have.
Yes queen 👑 My bloodline has been sexually assaulted for generations, my grandmother was assaulted by her math teacher from the age of none to when she Graduated high school and once she told her mom nobody believed her and she slowly went crazy (as my mom puts it) she got married had two children she got divorced, diagnosed with breast cancer, began hallucinating and died around her late forties before her grandchildren were born and my sister has been assaulted by a boy her age (they are eight) it started in second grade he was eventually expelled a few weeks ago after my parents tried to get a restraining order again him. I know it has happened in the past to other women in my family
If I have a son THAT MAN WILL LEARN THE FOLLOWING never to disrespect someone Treat others how you want to be treated Mistakes are ok Never harass someone Do your best in school Be nice Sharing is caring The more respect you give, the more respect you get Be careful what you tell your friends, because today, they could be your best friend, but tmmr they could be your worst enemy
I’m not a woman, but I totally agree that women should be treated better. And yet men still wonder why (some) women are so mean to them. Edit: AHHHH YALL ARE BLOWING UP MY NOTIFICATIONSSS

Like, its 2023, people really need to move past misogyny, sexism and any other kinds of discrimination and hate. Thank you for making this song and raising awareness 🫶
Sexism can happen to anyone no matter the gender, sure some men will do disgusting things like that, but women can do it too and everyone points the blame at just guys rather than people who do that in general.
they say women needs to be perfect but when WE try they're like "your so fat eat less, Your so skinny eat more" it was never enough after saying that some of us even cry our selves to sleep and questioning our existence it was never enough for them. and being scared to go alone at night and always looking our back every minute we are enough and we are perfect the way we are every skin, body EVERYTHING IS PERFECT we all shine❤

I'm a man with a daughter who loves this music. We live in rural Virginia were harassment isn't very common. I've asked her if she's experienced this, and she says she has not, but she feels something nonetheless about it because of this music. I don't know how to feel about a problem that doesn't exist to me or mine. She is so impressionable and takes things so seriously, I had to take notice. I understand the nature of this song, and it is certainly a fact for so many, but I don't want my daughter, who is struggling with her identity, to find a victim mentality where there is no source of villainy. The world is very complex. Good men will not understand. You only see what you're looking at. Terrible things happen to every type of person every moment of the day around the world. I'm torn between knowing the horrors and trying to be positive for her.
Here are the benefits of your daughter listening to this music: 1. *You don’t know how to feel about a problem that doesn’t exist to you or yours.* _But you daughter might, regardless of what she said. She might find herself in a scary situation with a bad person in the future. I absolutely pray this path doesn’t happen for her, no doubt. But she is a girl in a world where girls still can’t win at times. And maybe she herself has not experienced anything like this, but maybe her best friends have or will. You literally do not know and you cannot expect that these instances will never happen for her. Statistics from May 2023 state that 1 in 6 US women are r*pëd annually. 82% of juvenile SA victims are female. 90% of adult SA victims are female. 14-17 year olds were the mostly likely to be victims at 16.3% of the age statistics. Almost 80% of female victims were victimized prior to age 25. And less than 20% of attempts or complete SAs are reported annually. These are scary numbers to look at._ 2. *She’s already just aware of these issues as is.* _At least she is aware and self aware enough to feel something about this song. She could develop crucial skills that females should learn in the current climate to preserve their lives in case they catch the attention of a bad person._ 3. *How many cases got handled properly in Virginia?* In 2019, a news article with statistics about the clearance rate of SA crimes compared to kidnapping showed that only 19% of r*pë reported got cleared by an arrest, raise that to 22% for sex-related offenses in general. In 10% of _those cases,_ victims did end up refusing to cooperate. However, in 13% of those cases, prosecutors didn’t pursue the case. Meanwhile, kidnapping cases were 73% cleared by an arrest, 2% of victims didn’t cooperate and 2% didn’t get picked up by the prosecution. Those are skewed numbers for recognizing rapists and holding them accountable. Now, of course I don’t know your rural area better than you do. I also don’t care to ask for it for their specific statistics. It could be better there than it is over the state. Still calls to be aware of situations in surrounding areas._ 4. *Puberty* _I want to preface this with I do not care to know anything that specific to your daughter. I do not need any of that information. But if she’s not an adult and hasn’t hit puberty yet, things definitely change when your body starts changing. I was 13 when a grown man hit on me as a freshman in high school. I wore a D cup, you couldn’t really miss them. When I was in 7th grade, fresh out of middle school, I wore a C cup. I started puberty at 9, in the fifth grade. Guys looked. Guys commented. It’s still happening. My 14 year old niece started wearing more tomboy clothing a few years ago because she did not want people looking at her body like they had been. She was 11-12. These things do happen and they will happen until we teach everyone how to respect others and keep some comments to ourselves._ These horrors exist in the world around us. They’re fears of most women in the world. Be proud that your daughter doesn’t lack empathy or awareness of herself and the social world she could be growing up in if we don’t do something to help SA victims. And again, I do not say this to wish ill on your daughter or be a pessimist. This is just real. And I can link you to where I found my information as well if need be.
I don't mean to say you're unaware of things. But as somebody who lives in a rural area as well. That has nothing to do with it. I grew up in a small town. My graduating class was 42. I was wearing a tank top at school that did not violate the dress code. We were told it had to be 2 fingers width for the strap. That strap was almost 4 fingers width and I was still told that I either needed to go home and change or put on a hoodie. Yeah, that's a problem. Your daughter is going to face this as she gets older because it's "distracting", and it's not just distracting to her fellow classmates, it's gonna be distracting for the male teachers too. It doesn't matter if you live in a rural area and stuff like that just doesn't happen because it does happen unfortunately and as somebody who still lives in a rural area, I can tell you that. Yeah, it's even worse I have a twelve-year-old niece. She is, unfortunately a victim of SA. And you know, you never wanna get that phone call from your sibling. Who is hysterically crying? because of what they walked in on and saw what was happening to their child and then being told by the child psychologist that had to interview, said 10 year old at the time. That 1 in 5 girls under the age of 12 will be sexually abused. That's not a percentage that is a 100% chance. Thankfully, we got lucky and the Justice system actually came through for once, and the perpetrator got 15 years, which is more than most, pedophiles may be get a couple years to get out early and then repeat a offend. And you don't understand why your daughter resonates of this music, maybe you should ask her why she resonates with it. Because she may not know that she has actually experienced an issue because it's so normalized. Maybe ask Her to explain in detail , talk to your wife and ask her about it. Because I guarantee your wife has probably experienced something similar. Don't be hating on a song that is very much pointing out a problem in our society.
Growing up i convinced myself this stuff wouldnt happen to me, i was chubby and the awkward kid. It was crazy when i realized that didnt matter. That it can actually make you more vulnerable and more of a target. Ive been told i look 16 and then hit on, im 23 now but its so scary to know they like that.
that just sucks. The fact that girls can be any age, can look any way, but still get harassed. like there's no running away. hope you guys get treated better 🫂
You know what my teacher said when ALL the girls in my grade walked in the gym and started going off on the guys for being sexist? SHE SAID “GUYS MATTER MORE THEN YALL” next day we all wore dresses that were under our fingers we wore crop tops and then that teacher was fired and then no more unfair dress code
this is so relatable like the boys can have no shirt on and his abs showing or whatever but then they get made at us for just showing our shoulders? Like boys can wear tank tops show their shoulders, and girls don’t even care about it it’s just normal. But suddenly when a girl pulls her jacket down her shoulder the teachers are like: 😱😱😱YOU YOUUU 🫵🏻🫵🏻🫵🏻 DETENTION
This song is so true to us girls are always getting hurt or insulted or abused by boys its such a horrible life that we’re living in like boys just leave us alone

honestly last night i got cat called in a restaurant trying to eat with my GRANDPARENTS LIKE SERIOUSLY THIS HAS TO STOP WE ARE NOT OBJECTS THEY CANT JUST MESS WITH WE. ARE. PEOPLE.❤

Apparently some women are objects, some girls at my school like the idea of not being human and like being objectified.
And boys such as me aren't wallets
@@zorroloaf293honestly whoever uses men for their money is disgusting because the women that do should work hard for money they can’t just use men and boys for money because it’s not fair to the men and boys that do work hard for their earnings just for another person to waste it. i’m not saying all men and boys are bad just some are same goes for women as well because i have met very terrible and nasty women and girls in my life. my sincere apologies if my original comment made you think i was talking about all men. i hope you understand.

in 5th grade, a boy who was always considered "the bad kid".
Here are the benefits of your daughter listening to this music:
1. *You don’t know how to feel about a problem that doesn’t exist to you or yours.*
_But you daughter might, regardless of what she said. These are scary numbers to look at._
2. *She’s already just aware of these issues as is.*
_At least she is aware and self aware enough to feel something about this song. She could develop crucial skills that females should learn in the current climate to preserve their lives in case they catch the attention of a bad person._
3. *How many cases got handled properly in Virginia?*
In 2019, a news article with statistics about the clearance rate of SA crimes compared to kidnapping showed that only 19% of r*pë reported got cleared by an arrest, raise that to 22% for sex-related offenses in general. Still calls to be aware of situations in surrounding areas._
4. *Puberty*
_I want to preface this with I do not care to know anything that specific to your daughter. These things do happen and they will happen until we teach everyone how to respect others and keep some comments to ourselves._
These horrors exist in the world around us.
Good job teaching her dad wo to with these songs she will know she has a choice to her body noone I mean no one has a right to touch her

Guys can go to school with an 80’s thong on and not get dress coded, us as women/girls are always the blame for why men/boys can’t control themselves

this is so relatable like the boys can have no shirt on and his abs showing or whatever but then they get made at us for just showing our shoulders? Like boys can wear tank tops show their shoulders, and girls don’t even care about it it’s just normal. But suddenly when a girl pulls her jacket down her shoulder the teachers are like: 😱😱😱YOU YOUUU 🫵🏻🫵🏻🫵🏻 DETENTION

This song is so true to us girls are always getting hurt or insulted or abused by boys its such a horrible life that we’re living in like boys just leave us alone
Yeah girls get all the attention most of the time and girls is the one that mostly cheat

Very true…
So I don’t understand if a girl physically beast the living shit out of a boy at high school it’s fine but when a guy lays hands on a girl it’s sexual harassment y’all are freaking insecure
Very true
Did a GUY just say get over it?How would you feel if you were being mistreated and cat called because of your gender?I hate people like this
bcuz guys have enough problems too. they go through stuff too stop acting like ur special
How would you feel if a girl hits a guy but if a guy hits a girl, everyone gonna be simpin for the girl and disrespecting the guy. As I've seen
All the girls in these comment section are acting special. Maybe most women feel like this too
Yes yes yes but it isn’t like that I don’t know who and what boys you know but most of them aren’t rude and like what your saying unless for like high school and college boys like just wait a few years and nobody is rude and every is nice it’s only the teenager and content creators like boys feel the same with different thing like this song can back us up like this is what they fell like this this is what they feel like that but you aren’t talking about every other boy that’s nice like girls are the same the percent of married women that do the dirty with other people has gone up 40% in the last 20 years and that isn’t counting the people who didn’t admit and not including all the people using men for money girls show of things men like for the exact reason that to get a man’s attention and have you seen the amount of people doing OF you can’t side with the girls when boys are getting used in the same way teen girls are admitting that all they do is use boys just to play around and to make a person jealous which if we did that as much as they do that to us you would make a another song but we don’t have to just think how depressed men are after a girl does that to us it’s not the same as a person cat calling or pointing something out about you that you wanted another person to point out just because you like them so in general it’s not the same
If someone is coming in the comments and being like your wrong I don’t care I proved my points I got the message through so I don’t care what you think or if your like but we are girls you should be less rude but your a human and you set your expectations way higher then you set your own so if you made it hear thank you for hearing my opinion and fact
