Hell Yeah brother! Big congrats to broke that 1000hp barrier, I LOVE inline 6's in general, of all types and sizes but the fact that this is an american one, that's to far from the development of a RB, or JZ, o barra engine, same with the aftermarket support, is just amazing what you've done to this platform dude, and I really thank you for the time and effort you, your family and the people that make parts for the engine spent, seriously. I hope in the future to see even more progress and upgrades you can do to the platform, a bigger turbine housing is a must i think with that backpressure. Great Job buddy! Now enjoy the Car and make it go to the 8's!
Way to go Calvin!! Not to sidestep into a tuning debut, but do you think it's probably just as safe on a sliding scale to drop boost another 2 psi, and up the advance another+2 deg? I know a lot of tuning classes advise to run boost over advance, and every engine has its sweat spot, but that thing seemed to respond pretty sharply to a few more degrees... Makes you wonder where the best mean amount of boost could be for triple digit hp. Edit* all agreeable on bigger turbo... Backing the advance off in exchange for better exhaust flow, and more boost is probably the wisest street worthy decision.
I prefer to be very soft on timing. 10hp per degree is decent, but 5hp per degree is definitely not worth it. I just like to give it lots of room. The Dyno is not the track. What might work ok on the Dyno for a 3 second pull might be catastrophic for a 9 second pull. I've been burned by chasing the red mist of timing.
@Calvin-Nelson; Certainly the upgrades with a larger turbocharger are beneficial also with other means to lower exhaust backpressure. There are other means to improve combustion efficiency via VVT as Brent & Jaime do at PFISpeed within Honda, Toyota and other engines. Also, as mentioned several times, the fuel choice with high to highest ethanol content is the superior choice before any methanol injection or full methanol use. Also seriously look at water injection via David Vizar along with improvement via his experience, expertise, details within head porting, air flow improvements for intake and exhaust too. There seems to be some minor differences between this version in the Camaro compared with the wagon. Perhaps many of the viewers would appreciate the comparisons, results at the Dynometer and track too - some of these were shown at the track together previously. All The Best, Sincerely :-)

thanks to you and your videos i picked up a 04 trail blazer and an ar5 to swap into my 92 k1500 blazer that i chopped the roof off of then grafted on a regular cab pickup roof, and that body is getting swapped on to a shortened 05 z71 taho chassis with a drop kit while im at it. plan is to build it out and do baby twins shooting for 4-450 whp and i plan to daily it. im acrewing parts currently and just about have the chassis finished out. next is integration hell. i gotta say it gives me even more confidence in my choice every time i see how far you push the platform as far as reliability. only trick is getting a smooth responsive tune. ive really only seen mild stock or drag application builds not many road/ road race builds
