I watched each entry yesterday, and I loved every single second of it, "experiencing" the game again in your eyes was amazing and I am pretty happy that you enjoyed World, sadly I'm here for MH, but I'll give your other content a try, but keep it on, Rise will be a nice adventure to watch.
It's almost impossible to overstate how intelligent and organic MHW's changes were. How Capcom devs were able to adjust for the western market without selling any part of their identity or insulting any sector of their fanbase. Between MHW and RE2 Remake I will not hesitate to say they are somehow making the best modern video games even after all the ups and downs
One thing that i really like about your videos compared to other monster hunter channels is the way you format your videos about your experience. Doing it in journal entries is something fresh and new that I haven't really seen being done with monster hunter content. That and the fact that you're experiencing it for the first time makes it all very relatable. I like it.
Going from Iceborne to Rise will feel far more comfortable because Rise shares the same base moveset as Iceborne's moveset (For the most part at least)
After playing World since release, I only just recently got my friends to get into it after they didn't enjoy it during release. It is the best feeling being able to teach them all the stuff I didn't know when I went into it. I'm glad you were able to get that same kinda help from your community because Monster Hunter is many amazing things, but accessable is not one of them lol.
Hearing this, actually makes me happy, you sir are a talented hunter (defeating the Deviljho on the first try is an example of it), and now seeing that you are enjoying the game and mechanics, it will be an honor to hunt by your side on MH Rise

I love the Monster Hunter community. This is the first community I've ever watched be so aggressively wholesome and friendly to someone who didn't like their series that they pulled a 180°. Amazing.
One. Never judge a game by a demo food for thought. Two. Never take the word of a game until you play it yourself I hear others take about games but unless I see them play it and they show what there talking about.

I’ve been a fan of Monster Hunter since 2010 with Tri. Your videos and excitement for the series are bringing back the feelings I had then while starting my first playthrough. I love it.
Had us in the first video not gonna lie. Super happy to see your journey through the Monster Hunter series. It gives me some hope for getting some of my other friends, who are a bit apprehensive like you were, into the series. Rise definitely takes a bit to get used to even for Monster Hunter veterans because of all the new mechanics and movement. It took me a long time until I felt like I was comfortable with the wire-bug mechanics but the Magnamalo hunt really drilled in the new mechanics for me and I'm absolutely loving it now. The verticality, the movement and everything is just so much more enticing than any other entry to me. Maybe I'll see you online someday!

You could be enjoying all those extra moves / the clutch claw all the way through the base game if you had it. But, at the same time, you are getting the same experience those of us who bought it at launch got, and it makes iceborne hit harder having new stuff like that to dig into once you start it up. I’ve been a gamer for as long as I can remember. My fist console as a kid was the NES and I’ve had pretty much everyone since. I got into monster hunter this year. I had touched Tri on wiiu and World briefly on PS4 but for whatever reason it didn’t click for me. It wasn’t until lockdown and feeling an itch for a good combat game that I thought I’d dip back in and try Generations on the switch. This time I stuck with it and I was hooked. Only put in 200 hours and decided to get back into world but this time on PC. Why I skipped this game before was beyond me. Definitely one of the best games I’ve ever played. I have such an addictive personality and I love grindy games where you collect better gear so this was a perfect fit! Still probably prefer GU but I thought it best to get better at worlds combat as it would be closer to Rise. But what I really came here to say is that out of all the gaming communities I’ve been involved in over the years I can honestly say that the monster hunter community are the best bunch of people I’ve ever encountered. Everyone’s so friendly and helpful which is far cry from most places and a breath of fresh air. Glad you 180’d on this game too. I’ll never be looking back. Roll on Friday!!!

Yeah Rise isn't even out yet, but we've already had a content drop for the Chamelos revealed to us. The monster will drop into Rise at the end of next month.
It's so great to see someone get into one of my favorite franchises from the support of the community. Hey Jay Season two, episode 1 After an incredible initiation arc where Jay is taken to a new world to experience the hunter way of life, he rethink about the video that made him grow... Going back and forth in the streaming dimention to get advices from the council of veterans, he decides to go back to the place of his doom: the monster hunter rise demo. Now boosted by the spirits of the veterans hunter, he eats his words and take his Switch back from the shelf to show this new game who Jay is. To be continued

Great review/impression update video. Awesome form of update that a lot of content creators don’t do. I will say I already enjoyed the demo more than mhw and have already preordered it.

In the beginning I personally was not instantly hooked on Iceborne, but I think you'll appreciate it in many ways!

Dude, I dont have as much time as i had before to play any game, however I do watch a lot more videos now and this are the videos that I'm the most hyped to watch. I'm loving to watch you get better and enjoy a game that I like and that I had almost the same problems in the beginning.

Yeah Rise isn't even out yet, but we've already had a content drop for the Chamelos revealed to us. The monster will drop into Rise at the end of next month.

It's so great to see someone get into one of my favorite franchises from the support of the community. Its so often you hear about fans being toxic towards people trying out games for the first time and not enjoying it. Watching the community change your opinion of the game is inspiring and makes me proud to be part of this community.

Season two, episode 1
After an incredible initiation arc where Jay is taken to a new world to experience the hunter way of life, he rethink about the video that made him grow...
Going back and forth in the streaming dimention to get advices from the council of veterans, he decides to go back to the place of his doom: the monster hunter rise demo.
Now boosted by the spirits of the veterans hunter, he eats his words and take his Switch back from the shelf to show this new game who Jay is.

Relatable. When I did all I could do in World I started trying to find other games to play but wasn't sure if I'd like the older ones. Stories was one I managed to get all the way through. So good
