Tremec 5 and 6 Speed Manual Transmissions

Tremec Magnum, T5 and TKX transmissions from the 2022 World of Wheels Show in Chicago. Based off the Original T-56 Borgwarmer found in F-body's GTO's and Corvettes. The new generation is the TR6060 from the factory or the Magnum in the aftermarket

I got a T56 in my 96 Camaro. It's a Borg Warner. I assume Tremec took over. I have 460 hp 440 torque motor with a Centeforce Dual Friction and this setup works great. After 90K miles on the transmission there is a little whine from the input bearing, but not noticable with my exhaust. lol

Did you watch the full video?? They are the makers of the dual clutch transmissions in the C8 Vette and latest GT500. He smiled when I asked if they’ll eventually be made for the aftermarket

@@InternalCombustion Dual clutch trans suck, sure they're fast, but they're heavy, complex, fragile, and expensive, much rather a super light compact straight cut gear sequential, that I could semi automate if necessary.
