How would you protect a pond? I've heard a net works pretty good!

Yeah a net is the best option but it is SO ugly! All depends on the size of the pond, the shape, the depth. Lets take the pond that I just showed. The electric lines are a good way, add some cave's to give the fish a beter way of hiding. The all out best way is get a dog, 1 big dog or 2 small dogs. They will scare off the herons, but of they stay inside all day they can't protect the pond...
