    210 is still way too hot to be running in a trans. Bring it down around the low 150s or lower. It’s going to cook that trans if you don’t.

    • @strongspeedworks
      @strongspeedworks  Год назад +1

      Oh it cooked the trans. He’s swapped to an 80e and a very large trans cooler.
      Lots better.

    Greetings friend, congratulations on your project, it's excellent... I'm putting together the same thing as you, but I don't know how to communicate the engine computer with the original truck computer so that the dashboard and its needles work. Might you help me

    Really want to swap my 07 canyon. The prices have gone up so much on all the stuff you would need to set it up just like this one that I'm almost ready to just by an old silverado instead...

    • @trevorschnedler4472
      @trevorschnedler4472 Год назад +1

      Don’t do it. It’s soooo much money. On top of that you’re on an older gen computer with the 07 and CP doesnt make a harness for it

    Of course it didnt like the retarding the timing. You need as much advance as you can get off the start line.

    • @strongspeedworks
      @strongspeedworks  7 месяцев назад +1

      I took timing out in the upper rpm. Nothing to do with getting off the starting line.
      Some setups like less timing than others. It’s all part of tuning.
