Since I saw Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso / Your Lie In April I fell in love with the story, with the happy moments and the bad ones. Although I barely see people make tributes on Tsubaki's feeling so I thoughy I would give it a try. When I found this song, I immediately thought of her feeling towards Kousei being so close to Kaori

Tsubaki is for Kousei. I know Kaori’s a big influence in Kousei playing again the piano. But, Tsubaki’s there through it all and with all that’s had happened without Tsubaki I don’t think Kousei gonna live at the time being she met Kaori.

I remember in one episode where koari tells kousei thats hes not his mothers puppet and tells him he his on person, but there was also a time when kousei was looking for his cat when he was little and tsubaki was there with him and told her that hes just his mothers puppet and tsubaki told him that hes not his mothers puppet, that if he was his mothers puppet he wouldnt be looking for his cat. It bothers me that he cant even think about what she said to him, he only reacted to what koari said. I get it hes in love with her but can't he think about what tsubaki said to him even if she's just a friend to him.
You must understand that at that time Tsubaki was in love with someone else, who was the former captain of the baseball team (Saito), basically he was a mature person for her (someone she could trust). But unfortunately she never realized that the real person who was always by her side was Kosei himself and it is something that she said herself (Kosei was a simple clumsy brother who had lost his mother at an early age, which is why she obligatorily He had to take care and it did not make him feel safe) which was very wrong, something that Kaori was able to exploit the great capacity that Kosei had not only in music, but in being able to transmit his true feelings and assurances in himself and in other people I mean Kaori herself.

Koesei has always been ignorant of her feelings and that's why he felt like everything he loved is leaving him in the first place, if he knew how much she cared for him, I don't think he would've been this depressed in the first place. And as for tsubaki's mistake. It was not realising that even if music was the source of his pain, it was also his remedy. She forsaw this while kaori didn't. Koesei himself might've not knew he loved music so much if it wasn't for kaori. Noone can ever replace kaori in his life really, but noone can replace tsubaki either. I feel like after kaori's death tsubaki'll help him to move on (as a friend) and during this, he'll realise how much she means to him. He isn't replacing or forgetting kaori, he is moving on, finding a happy life with tsubaki. And I don't think Kaori would be "sad" because of this really. She wanted him to be happy too, and I think that's what she meant through the letter.

I think Kaori dying was a choice to impact the reader's emotions while also leaving the story up for interpretation. The reason why Kousei finally started playing in the final episode was because of Tsubaki's sneeze, which reminded Kousei that not everyone left him. After Kousei read the letter, realizing Tsubaki's confession was not a joke, after all, Tsubaki appeared after him explaining that she will never leave him sad or alone. In which Kousei replies with just a smile, briefly ending the episode with the "My first spring without you" line. The ending may make you think that Tsubaki and Kousei will fall for each other, or Kousei realizes that his best friend will always be with him. I believe the former, but it is your choice to decide if Tsubaki did end up with Kousei.

Woah I just saw this on my recommendation and I'm thankful this showed up. It's rare to see tsubaki and kousei videos. I sympathize Tsubaki coz of that same feeling of loving someone for a long time but sadly won't be reciprocate. That unrequited love. I cried on the beach scene of her and kousei coz that was so emotional to me. However, what I like about Kaori is she gives color and hope to Kousei which brings new life/chapter to him. That someone who brings out the best of you. Idk who I ship the most but all I can say I truly love this anime

I honestly think kousei only sees Tsubaki as a friend since Tsubaki never got to tell kousei that she loved him, but now Kaori came into Kousei’s world. Since Kaori was really spending time together with Kousei and created very happy and memorable moments with Kaori, Kousei started to love Kaori. He loved her because she loved him. Even though Kaori didn’t get to tell Kousei that she loved him, she showed her love towards him. So sadly now that Kaori is gone, Kousei will still love Kaori for all of those happy memories she gave him. Kaori gave Kousei the best gift in the world, she gave him happiness. So I think Tsubaki blew her chances with Kousei. Because it’s pretty obvious that Kousei only sees Tsubaki as a friend.

i can feel tsubaki’s pain. everytime i see her glimpse at kousei and kaori.. i can feel it and i cry. when she talked about her loving him and that she can never get him hurts so much. i don’t hate kaori. but tsubaki definitely deserved better. tsubaki will always and forever be my favorite person in the entire series. they’ve been through it all. she kept him as himself. she kept him alive. kaori may have brought him back his music. but, without her tsubaki keeping him alive, there would be know bringing back his music.

They belong together. I just see Tsubaki and Kousei as well known people who have been side to side by eachother since they were kids. I know Kaori and Kousei both love music, but i just don't see it as much as i see Tsubaki & Kousei together.

Kaori inspired Kousei to love music again, the thing that his mother gave him. So, it was natural for him to fall in love with her. But Tsubaki was there always for him.
She may not able to give understand music or other things, but she always has been there for him. From picking him up when he's hurt, jumping from the bridge with him and making him laugh, making extra mud balls for him, finding him in the rain when he was looking for his cat, always breaking the glass of music room just to get a glimpse of him. Kousei might be in love with Koari.
But when Tsubaki sneezed in front of those audiences, it give him an unknown courage to not to give up.
Koari might be the first love of Kousei but Tsubaki is the destination. That's why, at the ending, Tsubaki walked upto him and told she's never going to leave him alone.
So, yeah it was sweet bitter ending.
And the VM is very beautiful and it describes all feelings of Tsubaki! ❤️

Tsubaki loved him so hard, but he didn't love her back. I don't think they're meant to be, because the story was made for kaori and kousei. But, yes! She saved his life for a long time. (i ship tsubaki and kousei and im still sad thats why im here)
I get what you're saying but here's my take on this when you said the story was made for Kaori and kousei we can also say it's because it's mostly in their povs, yes the other characters pov are also shown but the whole anime is shown from mostly kousei and Kaoris perspective, so i think honestly there's no the story is made for them kinda thing here, for example i read a one shot manga shown in the perspective of the girl who likes her senior, but another senior likes him and they fall in love so this ones a one sided love story but here the story was from the fl showing her perspective, had it been the other way round people could say that the story was made for them but personally I think it's mostly from who's point of view we're seeing, when people say "the story is made for them" i don't think it only applies for romance with mutual love, i think it could also apply to different genres, Your Lie In April is nice but i don't know why but i never got this very strong bond like they're meant for each other thingy that people say, because i feel like people tend to overlook other characters and act like Kaori is the only character who helped him, or it might be because i just read alot of other Stories that shows the strong bonding of the characters😅,

YAY!!! I believe they'll be together. She's his rock, Kaori was something special to him, she was his first love, she was meant to help him live again, but that was all her purpose was(as sad as that is), it's Tsubaki who has been there before and will be there after for him. After she heals him, he'll see her as she sees him and they'll be together. It's obvious he cares for her and she cares for him, but she was forced to realize it wasn't just comfortable care, it's love. He'll realize it, but later. It was Tsubaki who woke him with her sneeze when he was playing the last song where Kaori appeared to play with him in spirit. In due time, they'll be together. 💖

I know people like Tsubaki and Kousei, they seem cute and people can ship them, but real talk... Tsubaki won't be able to give Kousei what Kaori gave to him, in fact, Tsubaki isn't really stable enough for a romantic relationship in actuality, I've watched the series 30 times (that's counting, not an exaggeration) and after watching it that many times and noticing new details each and every time; she's just not someone who'd be good for Kousei. Even after she confesses her love to him, he still doesn't see her more than a friend.
Kaori didn't just get him back into playing the piano, she helped him better himself, she brought color back into his world, she made him feel something other than depression and self loathing, and that's all within a few months knowing her, in all the years Kousei has known Tsubaki; she's only ever been a friend to him, because that's all he can see her as, even after Kaori's passing, but he still appreciates her, and that's okay. I only see them as friends, but it's completely fine if others don't agree with me, but I just strongly believe that Tsubaki just isn't right for Kousei. No one is obligated to return your feelings, some people are just better off as friends.

@@armyimnida7198 Tsubaki practically forces everything on Kousei, and I know it's with good intentions, but Kousei NEVER appreciates it, it's clear because Tsubaki says "sometimes you gotta smack him around with a good idea until he gets it, and this is a good idea" which implies she's forced him to do things he didn't want to do in the past, AND IT GETS CONFIRMED IN A FLASHBACK WITH THEM AT THE BRIDGE, Kousei may have enjoyed it after it was over and done with, but Kaori at least gave him a choice and a reason to do what she offered him to do. Tsubaki has realistic flaws, she's selfish and aggressive and cowardly, some people just can't let go of things that are dear to them, but that doesn't make it okay. She always puts Kousei down, calling him dumb and an idiot and invisible, even if it's apart of her Tsundere trope; it's still her belittling her childhood friend, it isn't cute or funny.
She cares about Kousei, there's no doubt, but she'll never be there for Kousei like Kaori was, Tsubaki is someone Kousei can depend on to always be there for him, to cheer him on and support him, but please remember that all she ever did for Kousei was worry about him, she never did anything, she ran to other people because she's scared to face him. Kaori brought back life into Kousei, she gave him everything he's needed after two years of being in the dark, she gave him freedom, she gave him a reason to play, even when she was in the hospital; Kousei wanted to play the piano just for her, and most importantly; she gave him love.
So don't try and tell me Tsubaki did more for Kousei than Kaori did, because she really didn't.

First of all, great edit. The song of choice was very fitting for Tsubaki and all of the emotional battles she had to fight because of how she felt about Kousei. And secondly, this may also be a little random, but I loved the way you pitched the song. This was the first time I heard it, and once I found it you pitched it up, I was a little sad because I like this version better, lol. Anyways, great edit, it’s nice to see another edit on Tsubaki as I’ve always felt a bit bad for her and have been in her shoes. You know, you become best friends with someone and you start to like them, but they don’t feel that way about you. There’s nothing you can do about it and that doesn’t make the other person a bad person, but it is something that will always make me feel a bit empty inside and how I’m not good enough even for the person I was closest to. So yeah, 10/10, I’ll be watching this on repeat for awhile.

The ending scene where the toll gate i guess moved down and the train pass by it means that kousei is closing the chapter of his life with kaori and starting a new one that's where tsubaki showed up before that toll gate and train showed up were she said that kousei should not think that he's alone she's always with her like a guardian angel and that realization hits him.
The beautiful friendship between Arima-Tsubaki-Watari over the years: They grew up together, matured together. Waiting to cover for each other over the years, the reason Arima didn't give up or commit suicide due to pressure was because of the two of them.
-emotional (Love) Tsubaki for Arima: Is a kind of unconditional love, regardless, not demanding in Tsubaki. She could do anything for Arima, but Arima doesn't seem to mind.
Because in the end, no matter what the outcome. Even if Kaori had to leave, no matter if Kaori liked Arima or anyone else, perhaps the one Arima chose would never be Tsubaki.
▪️The truth is, Arima won't do everything for Tsubaki, but one thing is for sure, Tsubaki will do everything for Arima.
