Second half of this takes me back to that one black mirror episode... Well two of them kind of touched on this.
Games were once about helping humans explore their imagination. This is a future of game designers creating games to get rich through "psychological cleverness". As a game designer I'd rather be poor and create authentic games that add value to people's lives.
Same. In the way Sim City encouraged people to become town planners, rollercoaster tycoon inspired theme park owners. Exploring real ideas. Not dopamine addiction trash with DLC and microtransactions.

Guess what, watching this on my iPad in 2020.
When the time comes and we have camera, screen and probably wi-fi to listen to music- all built in to a soda can, would we listen to Canned Heat? Like wise If our box of corn flakes had similar capability's, would we listen to Neil Diamond's crunchy granola suit? On a more serious side, should some one come up with a game called World peace, which I feel a larger proportion of Planet Earth would want to play(even those that put their time , thoughts and energy into death and destruction), then that is a game I would like to play. As for the theme music, I suggest Louis Armstrong-What a wonderful World.

You don't grow as an individual because you are being monitored and therefore feel obligated to be a better person. Of course its not a bad thing but its not you being your authentic self! You only grow when you lead a life of genuine compassion, empathy and love, when you give without reward, when you do a kindness when no one is watching. The very reason we have chosen this dimension to experience in this particular lifetime is BECAUSE it is a school of hard knocks!! It gives us every opportunity to evolve or de-evolve (that too can happen),and thats why we have freewill and choices... to hopefully choose with the right "intent", not because someone is monitoring us ! Technology can be used for good or it can be used for evil intent if in the hands of the wrong people.
Maybe people on this site should look up Tom Campbell, author of My Big Toe, Theory of Everything. He has lots of videos and is a truth searcher and a pathfinder of over 30 years, a scientist and physicist and a man of great integrity and no ego. He's a "must watch".
