Dishonored, dishonored DLC, Dishonored 2 and dishonored death of the outsider were and still are works of art that can’t be replicated. I’m here for it and hope he does a full series

it’s a shame that they were going to pitch a Dishonored 3 but then Microsoft closed the company, recently.
@@makasete30 that’s fine because the storyline was gonna be completly fresh. No more outsider, Corvo, Emily, Daud etc. they gave us a satisfying ending to all of the storylines. Dishonored 3 would’ve probably not been well received honestly

@@powreful4972whilst I agree that lots of narrative elements were wrapped up nicely I don’t agree that another Dishonored never being released is “fine.”
It’s a fantastic world with so much potential to build on the lore with old and new characters, technology and places. I’d love to see those excellent level designs expanded on with better AI too, with other unique abilities. The chaos element could be refined, too.
Sure, the chances of a great game are always hard with highly anticipated sequel, but I always think it’s best to take risks with art and not be scared by the challenge. Good creative writers still exist. Thank GOD Larian were not afraid by taking over a beloved franchise like Baldur’s gate. Thank GOD Nintendo didn’t give up giving us Zelda or Mario games after the first few because the previous games were complete etc. God of war could have been easily ended after 3 but we got a game of the year with the 2016 GoW. And Ragnarok was excellent.
The reaction could be mixed but it’s always worth taking the risk with sometching with so much potential and a rich narrative source. Ironically, I remember some being disappointed and very vocal with Dishonored 2 on release, but most loved it. Some people would have been fine with only one game.
The originals will always be there, but I think this a real shame we will never see what could have been with another dishonored.
This is one of my favourite stealth, immersive-sim games of all times, the amount of freedom in this game is insane and the gameplay still massively holds up to this day and the artstyle is amazing

I had this game sitting in my library as a free game I got on epic games, thought nothing of it until one of my friends randomly brought it up as one of his favorite games. I became immediately addicted and have now finished my second playthrough, first high chaos and second low chaos.

So glad you’re playing this!! I believe it’s 10 kills max per level to maintain the low chaos. It might raise to 5 kill max as it gets harder. Definitely want to avoid killing main targets! I hope you enjoy it enough to play all the sequential games, it’s a great series ❤
In the 12 years it’s been out I’ve went back to it and beat it at least 20 times. The ability to really be able to choose your outcome is a feeling no other game gives me. Much love and thank you H

You need to utilize your blink (and other powers), your stealth, and high ground more... roof tops,atop street lights,poles, high pathways, vents, etc..

I used to replay this game all the time on the Xbox 360 and Xbox One. The story and lore is so interesting and you have so much freedom with the gameplay. Love the dishonored games
RIP Arkane Studios. Just a tip, I would recommend you install a reshade to the game bro. It reallllly helps to make the graphics, lighting and shadows pop. Makes the image sharper. The note you got for that said "Look to the whiskey" that was where the combination to the safe was, lol. Right next to the safe. The notes are super important when it comes to finding hidden caches and safe codes. Also, you asked about either killing or choking. There is no moral system so it doesn't matter if you kill or incapacitate. Leaving bodies increases the amount of rats in the area, that's about it. I always killed because you can use the bodies to distract the rats. You can throw an unconscious body for the rats as well but it will expose you. The rats will wake them up and they will start screaming and alert everyone.
Also the HD texture pack and disappearing bodies fix on nexus mods are great for this game too. Great for 4k.
What a load of misinformation. The decision of killing or not IS IMPORTANT, since that determines your chaos level and ending.
@@cjcreep1329 Yes and I do believe there technically is 2 different Chaos endings depending on the way you defeat the last enemy... Only one Non-chaos "good" ending tho I believe for killing few enemies.
The Dishonored studio is Lyon and it is still open...
@@cjcreep1329 yes it effects the ending and a few other things but it’s not a huge deal. I mean if you care about the ending that much then so be it, care who you kill or not. I know I personally just did what I wanted. I guess if you are a completionist then it would matter to you

Please please please play these games even if you end up not posting them on the channel. I consistently passed up the dishonored series for years and finally decided to play them last year and did not regret. I only wish I could go back and play them again for the first time. I think you'd thoroughly enjoy them!
if you like what you've seen so far you're gonna love this entire game and the sequel - dishonored 2. the core gameplay is very simple and easy to learn but the thing that makes the games shine is the fact that the only limiting factor to how you handle situations is your imagination. there are so many creative ways to either stealth missions or go on killing sprees. you seem to have it down so far but the one suggestion I would give you is to explore the levels more and use more verticality. for example in that meeting room with the two guys there are vent shafts or boards or something that stretch the entire ceiling and you could've used them to have a bird's-eye view of the room. same goes for most if not all hallways, so if you get spotted rounding a corner you dont need to rune away, you can just blink up to a vent or some ledge in the tall hallways and lose the guards that way. in my first playthrough I was barely ever on the ground, I was constantly blinking between ledges and sneaking across rooftops

I LOVED THIS GAME! Got it when it first came out. Ended up scratching the disc and it would always freeze on the loading screen. Never did get to finish it😢

This is one of my favorite games ever. As soon as the trailer came out, 14 yr old me was so intrigued by it. Played it like 10 times on the 360, in different modes and bought all the DLCs. Never bought the next console, but I was extremely tempted to only bc of Dishonored 2

Killing or not killing is based on how u want to play do u want a high chaos ending or the low chaos ending, both have different end game cut scenes, the rats will attack you and anyone else alive or dead if its a group of rats. Each level has multiple ways of completing it so pick n choose what suits best for your playstyle
Defffff would love a series tho, this is my all time favorite game. Dishonored, Dishonored the knife of dunwall, Dishonored the brigmore witches, Dishonored 2, Dishonored 2 Death of the outsider. PLAY THEM ALLLL PLZZZZZ
Started playing that game a while ago. I hope I’ll find the time to finish it soon. Such a great example of a game not needing the best of triple A graphics to be a good game. Gameplay still holds up so well.

Yeah to make you not confused with the ending if you actually do make this into a series then as a pro tip you can kill some enemies but it's also best to actually stealth and leave people unconscious and even find other ways to complete the missions because when you complete a mission it'll give you a score saying high chaos or low chaos but you have to make it mainly say you're low chaos because some scenarios can happen if you're high cahos and you also won't get a good cannon ending because everytime I played the game I had fun so it was high cahos but I only got two bad endings and low cahos would be cannon for Dishonored 2
Hollow just some tips. You have to use the heart more, you missed a few of the runes you need to level up and youll want as much as you can to get the cooler abilities. Also you should use your powers more. When you use blink your magic regens completely after 2 seconds so you should use that almost constantly to get to high places and better positions, same with the dark vision. And lastly try equiping some of the bone charms you find in your inventory they help a lot
Also follow the arrows on screen that show your objectives

so you're about to play my Fav of all times NO SPOILERS my advice listen to people talking, read the books, and notes(at least for yourself), and put on your memory hat. Love you bro, and you should love this game. p.s.Think Powerful even in stealth mode, and decide early if you're going to play Bird, Hound, or Rat Style(you'll get it)one last thing. for the novice there are only 2 ways to play(with variations), but the Dishonored gods know of the third and most difficult...The no contact mission. in no contact there is no coming into contact with anyone, but main targets, and theres only1 main target that you have to touch. no shooting, stabbing,choking. all deaths must be accidental or can be assumed to have happened because of the environment. no one must ever know you were there.only thing harder would be to go no powers and no weapons. Have Fun.

All dishonored games are fantastic. I remember playing and getting amazed at environment, art style and immersive playstyle. I played assassin's creed games, this and plague tale so well made games. Nowadays, I feel not that much interested in games, I rather watch playthrough only not play.

If I remember correctly, when you kill a lot throughout the game it will change the ending. There are a few endings but they are based on actions. Definitely an interesting game. Graphics hold up as well it looks like.

Oh Yeah... Great game You Must do a playhtough Esp since youve never played this before It just gets better chapter after chapter & as skill's advance etc..The Expansion packs for this are Excellent as well.and just Expands the backstory even Deeper... Dishonored 2 didnt get as good of reviews when it came out Although the Art style you mentioned gets even better
For some reason I hated this game and had to push myself through to finish it.....I guess I was too young. Seeing you getting invested and taking the slow approach really entertains me though and it makes for a cozy experience. Love ya, Hollow
Thank you for playing. I love this game when it first came out so much! They just don’t make stealth games the way they used to and this was the best stealth game since Metal Gear Solid or Tenchu (maybe Splinter Cell) I think I might have to re-launch this on my steam account. 😊

The stealth/fighting approach is essentially just like the honor system in rdr2 so it's best to only kill if u have to. There's 2 endings and the 'high honor' ending is Canon.
