Well, I think I've cultivated a community that's just as excited to see my genuine reactions to story and event content as much as they're excited to play it themselves, so we really don't have to worry about moderating for spoilers unless it's someone that's new to the channel and doesn't know that I'm unaware of certain things when they jump in. But yeah, nobody would spoil it because they want me to have that "omg, wow" reaction, just like they did. It's incredibly humbling and I'm always grateful that I don't have to worry about bad actors or people that give bad vibes when it comes to streaming and making content with my chat.

I just wanna say once again, thanks for this series. I joined the game at end of 1.6 so missed out lots of hidden lore and stuffs. Moreover there are hardly any "streamer" who also dive into the lore as much us some of we few guys out there so it was great to have at least one guy like you in the streamer community. Gonna watch the vod now... now's the time to know all those hidden lore which i could never get to know.
I have been binge watching your genshin playthrough from the very first ep for the entire day now. as a veteran it really strikes you hard with nostalgia. I teared up at the first Lantern Rite cutscene and actually got to pick up so many lore clues in past quests. Your enthusiasm makes me realize again what was the actual thing that got me into genshin - the story, music and world building. Your gameplay reminds me so much of the time i would stop walking and listen to its music, the time i would walk without teleport from mond to liyue and talk to every single NPC for their tea. Now I have reached AR60 i decided to take a break from meta in a while and get invested in lore once again, all thanks to you. You really deserve a sub for this, see you in the next version livestream because i will definitely join the watch party on your twitch if you hold one 💃
came back to this specific again and i teared up listening to the GAA ost again. so many memories of summer 2021 came back, with the friend that got me into genshin. now he is no longer playing but we're still hanging out a lot irl, its just that genshin was the thing that bonded us together. anything about this game will always have a special place in my heart

The first GAA was really exciting since there are many things that GAA served as a test of... The wave rider and wave rider anchor point, the fog, idea of separate islands like inazuma, the idea of separate/sub maps (like enkonomiya, chasm, etc) Now the new GAA is used for character development and maybe some story progression...
Yeah the thing that is missing on today's GAA is klee and the feeling of you are really on beach vacationing... Don't get me wrong today's GAA is incredible but I don't feel that we were relaxing on a beach.. the changes on the islands too are also overwhelming and I didn't feel like a beach island now.
AHHH THE NOSTALGIA OF THE FIRST GAA🥺🥺 dont get me wrong, this years GAA was nicely done (esp the domains!) but the first one will always hit a little different🥺 just sailing around in the waverider with that glorious music playing in the background and the sun slowly setting was such a beautiful experience😭

I love going back in time with these videos. Version 1.6 was such a fun patch, and Version 2.8 has only made me miss it more. The first time we got to experience using the waverider, the new music, the characters, and even the easter eggs like being able to find Kaeya in Jean's office...all of it was such a wonderful experience. Version 2.8 just isn't quite the same. At least, not for me.
I started playing Genshin Impact for many reasons and one of it is because of Klee. It was patch 1.6 where I started playing the game in exactly Klee's Rerun Banner but in around 13 days remaining and didn't got her (but got Kazuha because of an early Qiqi, which was my old main, that made me guarantee to get the samurai boi early on. I'm not mad at getting Klee back then because I knew how hard her gameplay is until I learned how to use her more efficiency). Now in 2.8, the GAA came back as well as Klee's 2nd. Rerun Banner, and finally got Klee (even to C2) with a total of 291 pulls (starting off 30 pity 50/50 after getting Ayato) and finally maining her and forever will be, no regrets at all! Be it 1.6 or 2.8, both GAA events are really outstanding and memorable to me. Also, this game saved me from my continuous sadness and anxiety made by the pandemic so this game is already a blessing in disguise to me as well and will never leave the game (still enjoying it despite being complained by others that it has a lot of flaws while I'll just casually enjoying playing this game just to not get anxious).
I'm sold. I really like your reactions, I'm subscribing. I missed the early days of Genshin so I'm watching people playthroughs and I love yours the most.

Off topic question but when you showed the Unusual Hilichurl achievement I got reminded of the Mimi Tomo event (I think it's was in 1.5). Did you do it off-camera or did you remove it from uploading since you didn't find it interesting to be uploaded? Was quite curious about your reactions and also to jog up some of my memory.
I chose not to include it. That event was actually really disappointing in my opinion, as I was hoping it would offer more lore than it actually did. I'll be making the Twitch VOD for it publically available to anyone that wants to watch it as well.
I missed that waverider theme so much. Every music in GAA is great but that one alone made me feel so nostalgic. I always wonder how they write the song that make so much feel like this.

Hi I’m new to this channel and am curious. Are these just random streams you reupload to youtube or are these regular uploads of your entire genshin experience edited down? My playthrough is a time capsule, in chronological release order. I've been playing Genshin Impact exclusively since Day 1 (September 28th 2020), and all of my content took place on my Twitch channel, Twitch.tv/murderofbirds. During that time, and even now, I manage my main RUclips channel, MurderofBirds, which is prioritized for weekly reaction, discussion, and review content, which took a lot of editing time to produce. And while that channel wasn't gaming-focused, I'd upload gaming playthroughs from time to time, which were met with low, but consistent, engagement. For the first year of Genshin's release, I would record my footage to every piece of content that the game delivered, with the intention of inevitably releasing it onto my main channel at some point, but between streaming long hours, and having my main channel's content being what my audience really wanted, I spent the last year hoarding my Genshin footage, in fear that it wouldn't be a wise choice to upload it to a channel where gaming content wasn't sought after. So, in October 2021, while visiting my girlfriend for the first time in Canada, I decided to create THIS channel to dedicate to uploading my Genshin Impact playthrough series, in a chronological fashion, which ultimately worked out for several reasons: 1) It quickly became a source of discoverability for my Twitch channel. 2) The content was technically new to everyone that was discovering me for the first time, due to the prior, limited Twitch discoverability. 3) My content, while retroactive, provided genuine first-time reactions to limited content that is no longer available, which created a truly unique demand, as it's imbued with nostalgia for content that most players have as memories now. With all of this in mind, I started uploading what I'd like to call my Genshin Impact "Time Capsule" Playthrough series, in October 2021, and for almost a year now, I've been uploading weekly content of my playthrough, where I focus deeply on the story, lore, worldbuilding, and character quests of the game, and because I started my upload schedule a year after the game's release, that's currently how far back in the schedule it is compared to up-to-date content, but that's also become a blessing in disguise for me. All up-to-date Genshin content is still streamed on my Twitch channel, so any live content can be watched, for free, for a pre-determined amount of time before it becomes archived. ALL of my unedited Genshin Impact streams, across EVERY event that's ever come out, is archived on my Twitch channel for Twitch subscribers, as an incentive for their support, but the free alternative is also this channel. I edit down all of the content myself into engaging, digestible videos, with none of the livestream distractions that you'd expect from a simple re-upload (no donation alert, talking to Twitch chat, bathroom breaks, dead noise, etc). This ensures that the RUclips audience has the BEST experience possible when watching my Time Capsule series, and nothing of consequence is skipped. Not only is this a playthrough for the audience, but it's also a nice trip down memory lane for me with being able to document my entire experience so far. So, Twitch represents the present (w/ the entire archive for subs), RUclips represents the past (w/present-day reactions to trailers, and special programs) and the audience can decide which they'd prefer to engage with. Sorry for the long-winded explanation, but I feel like I needed to be as thorough as possible for the situation to be clearly understood. I upload new videos that progress the playthrough every Monday (Just uploaded Act 2 of the 1.6 Golden Apple event) I'm very much excited to stream Version 3.0 content, while also currently editing the Version 1.6 content for this RUclips channel, so in a sense, there's a little something for everyone.

While I appreciate your anticipation for Inazuma content, Inazuma is actually further off than you might thing, despite it being one patch away. The event story content of the Golden Apple spans across SEVEN videos, with each video being 40 minutes to an hour, and this one being the first one. Following that, we have the the Inazuma Archon Quest Prologue featuring Kazuha, including my showcase for pulling him. From there, we 're gonna have a video where I clear the Spiral Abyss for the first time. But the BIG content that'll keep Inazuma at bay are my videos for every Character Bio reading, which is for all 32 characters released at the time, as well as my reading of the Genshin Impact Manga, which is 17 chapters long. There's gonna be A LOT of videos being posted, which will take several weeks to get through before Inazuma content starts up, so I just hope you're interested in all the content in the meantime. And if not, at least be patient and understanding of my workload.

I chose not to include it. That event was actually really disappointing in my opinion, as I was hoping it would offer more lore than it actually did. I'll be making the Twitch VOD for it publically available to anyone that wants to watch it as well.

Hi I’m new to this channel and am curious. Are these just random streams you reupload to youtube or are these regular uploads of your entire genshin experience edited down? If so will the next video be more of 1.6 cause I honestly love this. Re-experiencing these old patches in this nice edited format is great
My playthrough is a time capsule, in chronological release order. I've been playing Genshin Impact exclusively since Day 1 (September 28th 2020), and all of my content took place on my Twitch channel, Twitch.tv/murderofbirds. During that time, and even now, I manage my main RUclips channel, MurderofBirds, which is prioritized for weekly reaction, discussion, and review content, which took a lot of editing time to produce. And while that channel wasn't gaming-focused, I'd upload gaming playthroughs from time to time, which were met with low, but consistent, engagement.
For the first year of Genshin's release, I would record my footage to every piece of content that the game delivered, with the intention of inevitably releasing it onto my main channel at some point, but between streaming long hours, and having my main channel's content being what my audience really wanted, I spent the last year hoarding my Genshin footage, in fear that it wouldn't be a wise choice to upload it to a channel where gaming content wasn't sought after.
So, in October 2021, while visiting my girlfriend for the first time in Canada, I decided to create THIS channel to dedicate to uploading my Genshin Impact playthrough series, in a chronological fashion, which ultimately worked out for several reasons: 1) It quickly became a source of discoverability for my Twitch channel. 2) The content was technically new to everyone that was discovering me for the first time, due to the prior, limited Twitch discoverability. 3) My content, while retroactive, provided genuine first-time reactions to limited content that is no longer available, which created a truly unique demand, as it's imbued with nostalgia for content that most players have as memories now.
With all of this in mind, I started uploading what I'd like to call my Genshin Impact "Time Capsule" Playthrough series, in October 2021, and for almost a year now, I've been uploading weekly content of my playthrough, where I focus deeply on the story, lore, worldbuilding, and character quests of the game, and because I started my upload schedule a year after the game's release, that's currently how far back in the schedule it is compared to up-to-date content, but that's also become a blessing in disguise for me. All up-to-date Genshin content is still streamed on my Twitch channel, so any live content can be watched, for free, for a pre-determined amount of time before it becomes archived. ALL of my unedited Genshin Impact streams, across EVERY event that's ever come out, is archived on my Twitch channel for Twitch subscribers, as an incentive for their support, but the free alternative is also this channel. I edit down all of the content myself into engaging, digestible videos, with none of the livestream distractions that you'd expect from a simple re-upload (no donation alert, talking to Twitch chat, bathroom breaks, dead noise, etc). This ensures that the RUclips audience has the BEST experience possible when watching my Time Capsule series, and nothing of consequence is skipped. Not only is this a playthrough for the audience, but it's also a nice trip down memory lane for me with being able to document my entire experience so far. So, Twitch represents the present (w/ the entire archive for subs), RUclips represents the past (w/present-day reactions to trailers, and special programs) and the audience can decide which they'd prefer to engage with.
Sorry for the long-winded explanation, but I feel like I needed to be as thorough as possible for the situation to be clearly understood. I upload new videos that progress the playthrough every Monday (Just uploaded Act 2 of the 1.6 Golden Apple event) I'm very much excited to stream Version 3.0 content, while also currently editing the Version 1.6 content for this RUclips channel, so in a sense, there's a little something for everyone.

While I appreciate your anticipation for Inazuma content, Inazuma is actually further off than you might thing, despite it being one patch away. The event story content of the Golden Apple spans across SEVEN videos, with each video being 40 minutes to an hour, and this one being the first one. Following that, we have the the Inazuma Archon Quest Prologue featuring Kazuha, including my showcase for pulling him. From there, we 're gonna have a video where I clear the Spiral Abyss for the first time. But the BIG content that'll keep Inazuma at bay are my videos for every Character Bio reading, which is for all 32 characters released at the time, as well as my reading of the Genshin Impact Manga, which is 17 chapters long. There's gonna be A LOT of videos being posted, which will take several weeks to get through before Inazuma content starts up, so I just hope you're interested in all the content in the meantime. And if not, at least be patient and understanding of my workload.
