I may actually get back into Phasmo. Last time I played was the week that the Yokai got added.
Oh boy. You got some catching up to do. Everything from new ghosts, new maps, cursed items, and custom mode. new shop. New items in like a week or two hopefully. Honestly its going to make it feel like a whole new game.
Insym: "I haven't had any freezes in a while."
Devs: "Well, that's not fun now is it?"

A little of everything, to be honest. Some abuse of the original Custom Game Settings system, doing challenges that restrict his item use, but mostly it's carryover as a result of playing the games for hundreds of hours and not dying. For him, it's an unironic example of Insym having "got gud".
I'm close to level 1500 and haven't heavily played in months, and part of the reason I have so much money is because I pretty much only play with my friends, so there's a rotation of who is contributing items, and the good-sport nature of my friend group of always trying to protect the person who contributed the items.
@selflesswarrior Right, evidence and tools seem simple enough lol but putting together ghost type/personality from how they act will come with time. Lost all my equipment last night due to a duh moment by hiding with my flashlight on 🤣 so yeah, i understand "gitting good" is a requirement for this kind of game that is dependent on information gathering. The new player grid is a tad rough money wise, thanks for the info!
@@blazeyprime4470 Absolutely! It definitely takes awhile to earn the money, depending on what difficulty you're playing on. I pretty much only play professional, I *could* play on Nightmare and higher custom settings, but I don't want to tryhard that much and, depending on several factors, you can get caught out and lose all your stuff easier on the higher difficulty tweaks. I use to be the player that opened the door to the location yelling "SUP B!TCH" to the ghost and was the party member responsible for getting all of the ghost-hunt-related objectives done. Now... I *can* still do it, but even for us there are times where we'd rather just get on to the next mission and take a slight XP penalty.
Of course, with the new update and level reset coming, we'll all be at level one again lol. I guess you could just try to play as much now as possible, I don't know how much ghost behavior they're going to be changing with the new update, but since everyone is going to get reset anyway, it's a ripe time to cram as much learning in with little long-term repercussions in the way of losing items and missing out on XP.
