You have to appreciate the acting that went into this game to pull off the live action immersion, it’s such a unique game because of that and it feels like an actual horror movie sometimes. I’ve seen the gameplay a couple times already on various channels, but it’s thrilling every time, so thanks for revisiting this Insym !
This game always gives me the heebie jeebies... you almost never know when the Bonks are coming or if Jimmy is creeping around somewhere.. buut it's so fun to watch you play it :D
Man I love At Dead of Night and it’s cool to see you play it again! It is one of the only horror games that really sends shivers down my spine. I am honestly terrified to turn a corner and then be whacked in the head by Jimmy. It’s terrifying. At Dead of Night 2 has been confirmed and I can’t wait to see what it has in store!

4:21:15 yes there is your supposed to use sound to listen for jimmy aka why he says maya and stuff. Like wheb you went to the bathroom after 10 seconds he said maya at a distance indicating he was not in the room nor your hallway. Then your not supposed to take hallways super sonic speed unless you baited him with the call to hear where he is if he has been a bit quite the game even tells you this. Plus the kitchen in the basement is set up for you to use the scry mirror since it attracts jimmy to your location and the kitchen is a safe spot.
Don't use the mirror anywhere except in the kitchen, because it brings Jimmy in, immediately, when you look in the mirror in a room. That's why you see him in the mirror briefly.
The upload to youtube seemed to stutter quite frequently. Your webcam had no stuttering just the gameplay. Sometimes there would even be large chunks not rendered till Maya stopped moving. Was this an issue on the live stream or was it an issue with the saved footage? Great video though. Love your content and keep up the good work.
I literally just finished watching a real story about a guy with schizophrenia who was convinced a man was going to try to kill his wife if he didn't murder a specific person. Turned out it was all in his head and there is video of him talking to himself like Gollum and then I clicked on this video and the villain was basically the same. Spooky!

Sadly, the Extreme Mode is not much different than the Normal Mode, except he takes your keys/spirit box/etc. It's a great game but once you beat it once or twice it becomes meh..
Why would you reload a save after getting bonked? Cuz the whole point of playing on the hardest setting is to avoid being bonked... all reloading the save does is SAVE you time of having to hunt down your missing items.

I was making a general comment on what he said about saving/reloading in the video. He got a lil' saucy with some peeps telling him to save before trying an extremely risky tactic. It's like you said yourself, it saves everyone time to just skip the arbitrary step of having to go to the store room, and deal with the RNG for the other missing items. These transitions are very Blackstone Chronicles. I wish that game could be played on modern PCs.
