She isn't going to marry anyone. The marriage allegation in the episode 9 script wasn't supposed to happen. Alicent, we saw in the show, would ultimately confront Otto and take control of the Greens.
In the trailer, Otto is telling her that she must accept the path to victory is one of violence. My theory is that Alicent will be hesitant about the war in the early scenes until a Blood and chese occurs. Paralleling Rhaenyra's experience with Luke, the death of Jaehaerys is what changes her and drives her to be fully committed to this war.
In the trailer, she seems to be coming to terms with how her past life, serving the realm and her house and being a decent queen didn't lead her where she envisioned. The bath could be some sort of rebirth, signaling an evolution of the character into a different path.

yup they need to give characters like Alicent and Halena that was mostly background characters during the dance something to do. Hell they need to give Rhaenyra something to do, expect for an action or two she was mostly just hanging around Dragon stone.

They can give them less scenes rather than forcing into scenes. Every character should serve a purpose to the story the writers want to tell. I am sick of fan favorites being shoehorned into more scenes at expense of the writing quality. Also when there is good writing, political intrigue can be just as exciting as a battle. She doesn't need to do anything other than serve her purpose in the story. Please no more Arya like writing. All respect to the actress but the writers failed her.

Just because it’s in a bathtub doesn’t mean it’s a nude scene though. In S1 we saw aemma and viserys in bathtubs and neither included nudity either so as far as HOTD goes they don’t have a track record of gratuitous nudity in bathtubs.

Maybe they'll depict Alicent having a spiral into madness like we saw from book Cersei, and throughout this season her psyche will crumble under the weight of what her destructive actions have caused. I've suspected that lakeside scene is either a "self-deletion" attempt or a flashback of an attempt; so things could track with Alicent going insane. It seems like Olivia Cook's face is looking thinner than in season one; maybe to reflect Alicent's descent into madness she's lost a bit of weight. That would be an unteresting show adaptation, and Olivia could knock that plot out of the park. I'm so pumped for season two regardless!!!

I definitely think we’ll see alicent be more suicidal this season. Just based on the trailers we’ve gotten and the fact we know B&C happens and how helena is impacted by that eventually as well.

From what I'm seeing, there are three separate green dresses, one blue green, and one black dress. The dress she wears in the sept looks to be different from the one in the riot (the one in the sept has a gold panel on her chest and the riot dress has a scope neck with gold trim). My guess is Alicent in the sept dress js praying for Luc since we also see her wearing it briefly in a council meeting with what looks to be Aemond in the background. Then the riot dress is probably the one from later in the season.

I think the scene where Alicent is sinking into the water, it looks like she's fully dressed as there is something off her shoulder. I think this might be one of two things: It's either real and she is doing this to try to sink herself into someplace else where she can have some peace, or again considering she's got clothes on, it might be a dream sequence where she's feeling overrun with everything that has happened and what she has allowed to be put into motion with her actions. Women sometimes do this in a metaphorical "Calgon, take me away" moment.

I swear to old gods and new if they put her in armor and on a horse leading any charges I will quit ASOIAF forever. I still need HBO to announce this is a totally different universe than GOT. I have regained my interest in ASOIAF thanks to season 1 being so good (not perfect but good, I can head canon to fix a few things). Another amazing video Mr Dragon.
Here are my top SEVEN expectations/season 2 wish list🕯:
    1. I want to see the other younger characters getting more screen time, just as Ryan promised.
    2. I want the show to introduce Daeron and Tessarion in this season through dialogue if we're not getting them in season 2.
    3. I want to see Helaena & her children getting a considerable amount of screen time before the infamous B&C event.
    4. I hope they do justice to the Seasmoke "switching rider" plot, it has to make sense and must be in line with the lore.
    5. I want the white walker plot to make sense as well and not dilute the goodness of the season (I believe in Condal & I know he will deliver)
    6. I want to see Helaena with Dreamfyre at least once ffs. I don't think many casual viewers know if she has a dragon or not, I hope they correct that going into season 2.
    7. I want to see the Blackwood vs Bracken bad blood becoming a thing in this show, they have already established that in season 1 which is good.

THE LIST: 1)Alicent's character after Blood & Cheese needs to change, no more childhood friend Alicent, we need to see Cersei Alicent.
2)Aemond either goes full book villain or pre episode 10 Aemond no in-between inconsistent writing for this character choose one, also make him the only incompetent dragon rider or have every character lose control of their dragon.
3)Aegon needs to be the main figure of Team Green as he IS the King not Alicent & Otto, Rhaenyra acknowledge that they are your siblings not Alicent's kids.
4)Daeron needs to be mentioned and even shown at least in the final episode with his dragon heading out of Oldtown(Cuz casuals don't even know of his existence).
    5) Apart from the dramatic part of Blood & Cheese I don't see many people giving af about Helena and her kids so make the Greens more sympathetic and not just Godess Rhaenyra and her Squad...(When I say make The Greens I don't mean Alicent we had enough of her development in season 1).
6)Basically have the kids on the main front on both sides, and lastly the most important thing NO MORE ACCIDENTS!!!------>Blood & Cheese needs to be a deliberate order from Daemon AND RHAENYRA especially her.( I know GRRM promotes ''Grey Characters" in his books ... even tho he has multiple Jesus Characters(Jon, Danny, Griff etc) don't make Rhaenyra into a Jesus Character PLS)!

Viserys foreshadowed that it was an illusion they control the dragons. The two children got into their fight and involved dragons in it. It had nothing to do with incompetence in the sense of riding skill. It was the fact they were young and did not understand what powers they were dealing with. Aemond was playing a game with a weapon of war and learned a valuable lesson about dragons. One he probably should have learned from his elders. He didn't have a father most his life.

Kilner worked with the younger actors in multiple episodes, giving them chances to weigh in on how they think a young woman would act in a particular situation - like when Rhaenyra is scooped up to safety by her admirer Harwin Strong in the middle of a fight during her wedding festivities.
“When we first did it, it was a bit of a classic thing - a man putting a woman over his shoulder and carrying her, and myself and Milly were a bit worried. ‘Ah, what does that mean?’ But then we thought, he is saving her, and she needs to be saved and he’s a strong, big guy!” Kilner says. “And what Milly did, which was beautiful, was sort of kicking and trying to get down at the same time as he was carrying her. I think that struck a good balance in terms of women and agency and not getting too stuck in the old societal norms.”
