Thanks for the video series! My wing is having an OTS board here shortly and I'm putting in a package. One thing I was curious to learn was what a typical day was like and the freedoms (or lack there of) you had. As enlisted right now, all I have is my experience with BMT where it was very controlled and to me it felt more like a prison in many respects. The only outside communication was through letters, and all I had for entertainment was my study guide. There was many evenings of folding laundry and staring at cinderblock walls bored. I'd love if you can share more on what life is like from waking up to the general chores you'd have to find time for in the training cycle.

How long did it take for you to get to OTS school? Which state are you from?

hello, I'm from Hawaii. it took about 10 months the total from initial point of contact to commissioning and ots.
