Yes they are red mangroves! I don’t dose anything extra for the trees. Just the ‘infrequent’ waterchanges and fish feeding are enough for them. They are also rooted heavily in the sand and rock so they are getting nutrients from that as well.
Nice I have the same tank where I am doing a more clownfish harem style tank in my SR-80 Pro 2. I run the IM UV Sterilizer that is an 11watt as well. I have been wanting a new protien skimmer though. How are you liking the one that you have installed? The 9012.
Awesome! I don’t know very many people with this size tank! Great to connect. I love the Tunze 9012 skimmer, it works fantastically and is very quiet. The only real issue is that it can be difficult to clean. Once you figure out how it comes apart and do it a few times it’s easier.
Thanks! The Mp10’s stick ok for the most part. I also have them tethered to a wire hanging mount that’s attached to the glass just in case. They have come off once or twice if I let the wet side get too dirty and it creates some torque. Keep them clean and generally no issues.
