After a good decade plus in the doldrums Simple Minds have spectacularly returned to form in recent times with a number of excellent albums backed up by brilliant live shows. Jim and Charlie are the daddies but they have recruited great musicians around them including the amazing Sarah Brown. So many bands of their era are now basically their own tribute act but SM are able to perform great new material along with the classics. More please.
agree, this version of the band is completely refreshing...fan since the first lp, lost me after Sparkle, Cherie is a powerhouse, they've finally matched their live peak and exceeded it.

Seen them in Cardiff 3 times. 1989 Arms Park, 2017 St Davids Hall on the acoustic tour and this year in Motorpoint. Outstanding. Cherisse on drums and percussion is superb.
Like Queen then....New singer.....still Queen.....same sound, same songs....Bands evolve, change members etc. Look at Deep Purple, Rainbow eg. Robin Clark and Mel Gaynor were awesome but I also like Cherisse and Sarah.
Sarah Brown OWNS this song. And what a great lineup. There is such a sense of revitalisation and freshness.

They were a world band up there with U2 in the 1980s and into the 90s.
They were in the '80's. Headlined the 2 Mandela Concerts..
