It does work. I did this method like 2 months ago. I have like 15 and thought there was no hope. I friend of mines told me and I’m wearing ALL of my Alex & Ani they look good as new!! Who would have thought ?????
If you want to prevent them from tarnishing, store them wrapped in a tarnish removing cleaning cloth. I have had mine stored there for over a year, wear them often and they have never tarnished.

I work there and we sell polishing cloths to prevent tarnishing! Using chemicals strips the anti tarnish lacquer that can ruin the metals if you're not careful!

You can, just dry them off after. Sitting in water is bad for them. You can also store them with regular chalk in a baggy to avoid tarnishing when not in use.
hey, you guys. i didn;t know tarn x can clean cheap costume stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but you need a large bowl of warm dish soap with sudsy way and then,...a clean cool huge bowl of running water to STOP the tarn x solution. And your things are NOT real silver nor gold!!!!! you DO know the difference, right?

You don’t need to add water to tarnX. Its best used concentrated.

Shauna I got a jewelry storage hanging rack that zips all my jewelry up from Tjmaxx. Definitely has kept them looking new storing them away.

It’s not real gold or silver. It’s made from recycled brass. However, they hold up nicely if you take care of them.
