Thank you for this tutorial. I just finished one for my 91 year old Mum. She loves it. I am just a beginner and still cannot read patterns. I didn’t put the popcorn at the bottom. I finished it of with the fan stitches. God bless.

How much yarn do you need for this? Could you modify it for a child using a bulky weight yarn? And I love how your cat gets in the way!!! 🤣🤣 I have the same problem here!
I bought this pattern. I am having issues with this type of collar though. Yours appears to cinch inward. When I crochet this part it "fans" out. Not nice looking. I am not sticking and tighter but I hate that the yoke winds up loose at the top standing straight up and not the same as the bottom
@@LoopyMabelCrochet no I am crocheting the right up and down. Oh, are you skipping stitches in at the bottom? I did the two together and then three but the top of this yolk then stands up

So Uk trebles are us doubles and Uk doubles are us singles?? Ashamed of myself .. british but learnt crochet the American way

Hi .... make sure you are not picking up too many stitches on the neck band as this will make it too big x

Yes you need to make sure you are starting with the correct number of stitches ..... the first row you reduce the number of stitches
