I guess you don’t understand. Just because the poll worker can’t find your name does not mean you are not registered. When you file a provisional ballot, it gives them time to look more carefully for your name.

What do you mean you will accept provisional ballots but not real ballots for people not registered? Seems to me you have misinformation. What you just said was “if you are not registered you cannot vote but you can provisional vote and we usually in those circumstances will accept those votes”. How does that make sense? You either can or cannot vote and that vote will be counted or not. Not that hard to understand what you just said but I think YOU Adrian Fontes need to be more clear on that statement you just made
