First of many comments. This game is gonna come down to coaching. We have better coaching. Speaking of coaching. Remember when Coach Reid got his second HC job. With Kc. Who was bad. Andy got their and drafted his Qb. Learned from his mistakes in Phi. Now look at him. DQ on that same path.
For me players have to execute the plays that are called because of they don't then it'll seem as if the coaches are calling bad plays. We all love JD5 but he can't start slow and missing open wrs or not throwing the ball away. He has to rely on his check downs this game and don't force anything because with the Bucs blitzing there will be guys open but Jayden will have to hit them.
Other than QB, Tampa has the edge in each and every position group. We need an epic game from JD5 and a good game from Lattimore and we have a puncher's chance. JD plays best when the lights are brightest so a night game only helps. Hail
If the defense on the field last I actually have faith. Say what you want about the Defense but we bend but don’t break. We keep forgetting that for the offense to win these games the defense actually have held their end of the bargain to mainly only give up field goals and they make timely stops. St Jew’s will play tough as always. 💯💯💯
No question this is the worst roster we'll have for the foreseeable future but conversely this is the easiest schedule we'll have for that same foreseeable future. Next year will be interesting so say the least. They win 12 games next year? We doin somethin
As a person from DC.. I've watched my teams choke playoff games. Choke regular seaosn games. I've watched 3 championships be won. When people didn't think we had a chance. People don't think we can win the SB this year. I wouldn't be surprised.. remember NYG was a 5 seed and shocked everyone.. an they won the SB. Believe people
We cannot go into this game getting dumb penalties or mistakes. This team beats themselves a lot and we just can't afford to do that in the playoffs. The run game also has to improve.
I think we should run some plays with Mariotta against TB just to give them different looks, especially if the run game isn’t going. Marcus has been pretty explosive the games he’s played and can take some pressure off Jayden.
Even if that would result in a win that is a terrible idea. It would nuke Jayden's confidence going forward. We are not winning the SB this year, the team is being built around him...
The problem is we’ve been playing catch up to the point, other then the QBs, they abandon the run. B Rob had a 4.6 average against the falcons but they had to play a lot of tempo.
To me it's simple. Jayden is tired. Not only does it make sense as he had been on the sofa for 6 weeks last year but he said so himself a few weeks ago. His little frame is running on empty. It's a problem. At least for this year. For that matter the whole team seems run down as they haven't been able to play 4 quarters of football in well over a month. Couple that with the glaring holes on our roster I'm not feeling good about advancing. Obviously anything could happen lol. As we've seen in spades lately but common sense tells you that can't last. I'd think if you can walk you're playing this weekend. So we should see all our starters out there for what its worth. Its a playoff game so you'd think the energy would be high. They don't get off to a fast start or Tampa gets up a couple touchdowns it's a wrap. Baker and Todd will put their boot on our throats and keep it there.
To bad were not gonna get to play the eagles any more this year, cause the eagles are gonna get knocked out in first round of playoffs, while we move on.
