      50 year fan here as well and I find that disturbing. He's 200 lb soaking wet. He's so skinny and so fast the defense can't catch him. He runs out of bounds or slides he's so fast they can't wrap him up. No one is allowed to land on top of him behind the line of scrimmage. He's not built to last in the NFL but he's thriving because of quarterback protection rules. Welcome to woke football. The future is watching skinny kids who weigh half of what linebackers do running all over the field being protected by the rule book. If women could run faster they could play quarterback. Good stuff huh. He's come out of two games this year because of hard hits. Without protection rules he would never last

    • @lucky-three
      @lucky-three Месяц назад

      @evanbell7825 anthony isnt half the size of the defense. Jayden can outrun the whole team rested. After every play, they get slower. Anthony can be jacked up when he crosses the line of scrimmage. You cant catch jayden. Hes an anomaly the nfl never saw coming. He's too skinny to survive and he's too skinny to catch. He surviving because of quarterback protection rules behind the line of scrimmage. If the defense were allowed to tackle and land on top of him in the backfield, his career would be over. Every team now is going to go get themselves a 200 lb mongoose to outrun the defense. And if any of them ever take one hard shot they'll be out for the season. Woke football

I was blessed to have season tickets from 1971 to 2003. JD is a happy addition to the team roster. In my old age I’m blessed to be watching him have such a great rookie season. RG3 was a brief brilliant comet that couldn’t slide. JD is better at it. He’s a humble man with manners to be inveighed. A man blessed by God, who loves Jesus. He’s pops must be happy & proud. Everyone was saying at the beginning of the year this would be a rebuild year and might get 7 or 8 wins. We are 11-5 and clinched playoffs with what I think is a really good chance of being in the Superbowl at this point of the year. I am a Tennessee Vols fan but for the NFL I am a Washington fan. I knew he was good and i was glad to see we got him in the draft. But I didn't expect this year to be this good. Imagine where we might be in the future probably be one of the best teams in the NFL if get to keep him around. We finally have the qb been searching for.

    How is MVP judged? Great season, break a couple records, lead in a couple categories? How about the impact the player has on his team? Daniels is by far the most impactful player in the NFL this year. He took a team that wasn't even mediocre. They were flat out bad. Now look at them, a legitimate contender. Certainly is the most valuable player on his team and a concern to his opponents.

    You can’t say with such certainty that ‘I’m sure he’ll step back next season!” He may get more talent on the Offense and Defense that would allow him to “STEP UP!”

    I'd like to think that the Commanders brining in other QBs along with JD5 was to make the Bears think they had questions about him, which would increase the chances of the Bears taking Caleb. If so, it was a stroke of genius.

    @joe-edward Noted Dan Quinn for Coach of the Year honors. I agree and add that the clock management has been very good this year. Hail Mary. This game, Eagles game last week. There were a few others. Dan Quinn gets COY credit for his really excellent clock management.

    Happy for my team. Happy for the rest of the fans that have been there through every horrible season of the Dan Snyder decades. Adam Peters, the architect, is building around Jayden, and this team can run for a Super Bowl in a year or two. At the moment, the only elite corner we have is Lattimore. Postseason quarterbacks are going to be throwing all over this secondary if Lattimore isn't out there. If the offense eliminates all the penalties, they could help Jayden out even more. I would assume Dan Quinn knows all this. Should be better vs. the Cowboys.

    My only doubt about Daniels was his slender frame. I thought he'd get injured. He's taken many scary hits, and he keeps coming up smiling. I'm actually proud of this kid. If the Commanders can reel back the penalties and get Austin Ekeler back, they can go far in the playoffs. If they have to come to LA to play the Rams, that game will be fire. Jayden is without a doubt rookie of the year, and if he only had more TD's, he'd be in the MVP race as well.

It just calls for him to be talked about. Many people had projected some of the other Rookie QB's to have a fantastic season. Jayden Daniels intercepted that tho. Wishing them all good but JD5) Jedi5 is my QB
