One thing that is needed in college is a flashlight in the event of a power outage on campus. An additional thing I will say is needed is bottled water in the event of a boiled water advisory vending machines are most likely to be out of bottled water within 20 minutes of it beginning and you are told not drink water without boiling it.

i love your room. But do you plan to move off campus later in your college years and if so what do the accomodations look like. I know at SUNY Onenta, they were pretty much wrecks, but after Sophmore year, I could no longer live in the dorms even though they were pretty nice, I felt the need for privacy and independence usurped the security of campus life.
