I do beg to differ re: stupid hillbillies. Maybe back in the 60's many people assumed we were all stupid. But you have to figure, we learned so many things by simply doing them or observing nature. We are from the American South and nearly every man and a few women could fix cars, tractors, ringer washers, etc. I still use some of my Great Grandma's home remedies, and you really have to know what herbs or tree barks you need. And all their healing properties.
I did love The Beverly Hillbillies though, and it was hilarious!
As we all noticed, they got up very early in the morning. Many folks assume we are lazy because we are setting on the porch with our iced tea, a fixin' to go somewhere. If more people knew we get up by 2:30am to tend the garden, wash and hang the laundry out, do all of the household chores, yard maintenance, and all of the cooking for the day. It's too hot to work by afternoon! Not much of a wonder that it's high time to be fixin' to go swimming, is it?
God bless y'all! And all of the actors in one of the funniest comedies of all time.

The IDIOT photo editor at "Viral Nater" substituted a frame grab from the ATROCIOUS Twentieth Century Fox feature film for a legitimate, Filmways Productions / CBS Network publicity photo from the 1960s. 'Back in the day' no show sponsor, no network censor would allow their beloved series regulars to be photographed 'giving the finger' for purposes of publicity photos for distribution to newspapers and magazines. And more than half a century ago -- timeline of "The Beverly Hillbillies" -- none of those publications could print such an image.

@@scvandy3129 With all respect, SC Vandy, 'Viral Nater' did not make a mistake. They were specifically referring to the 1993 movie being a flop when that atrocious picture is shown. They were showing how stupid the actors in the movie looked, not trying to say that it was a picture of the actual Hillbillies. My comment, just two comments above Karen Messinger's comment also is referring to the movie flop while talking about the picture. Nobody could miss that the people in that picture are the newer actors from the film. I was talking to Karen about how things progressively keep getting worse and my comment was pointing out that by 1993, whoever thought that was a good idea for a picture wasn't using their brain cells. My comment was to say that our beloved Hillbillies would never have posed like that and if the people who were responsible for that picture thought it was funny, then someone needs to go back to school. I don't know how to make it any clearer than that. Happy New Year!

My favorite episode was the one where the Beverly Hillbillies spoofed the third James Bond film, Goldfinger. Jethro wanted to be just like James Bond and be a double naut spy. He armored up the Clampett truck / jalopy and wore a trench coat filled with all kinds of tools and other gadgets. I laugh myself silly every time I watch it. The Beverly Hillbillies was a victim of the so called rural purge that began at CBS in 1969 and ended about 1971. All of the CBS shows that had a rural flavor to them were canceled by CBS. THE BEVERLY HILLBILLIES, GREEN ACRES, PETTICOAT JUNCTION, MAYBERRY RFD and HEE HAW were the ones that I remembered.

Last year, I made a New Year's resolution to try and not complain so much; this year, my New Year's resolution is going to be to start complaining again! No wonder the Beverly Hillbillies movie was such a flop; look at the four boneheads giving the middle finger at 8:53. None of our beloved Hillbillies would EVER do such a thing. Who's idea was that and what were they thinking? Obviously they weren't thinking. I could go on.

While the info here was good, the video which went along with it was horrendously edited so that what was on the screen most of the time has nothing to do with what was being said. Do better if you want more subscribers.

"rebeccadepasse9841," I can barely tolerate it. What I truly despise is the inaccurate text the voice is emitting and the preposterous positioning of photos and frame grabs that don't equate to the words / subject.
      Total 'amateur hour'.

I keep hoping that these "Behind Te Scenes" videos are going to be good and entertaining. They are terrible. The producers of them refuse to research and fact-check. That's FREAKING IMPORTANT. In this video, photographs do no match the narration, and more and more, these are being done by AI Voice. This one is almost believable, until you hear egregious errors in pronunciation, that is, on top of the unresearched information. Isn't that awful??? A video about actors being told by a F***ING ROBOT.
