I’ve been using Jeffs black dyneema straps with a beckett hitch for a couple years now or since they first came out. Haven’t had a single issue, they work great.
I did get my first Darien at 1.2 and tried it out but my back was slightly hurting. So I bought a new Darien upgraded to a 1.6. When I used my blackbird which was 1.6, I slept better. I will take my new Dream Hammock out in October to try it out with my new underquilt, Spectre Partial, from Little Shop of Hammocks.
People like different mattresses. For hammocks it's 100% not about the weight of the hammock but the comfort of sleeping. I feel the same way about my sleeping pad for my tent. I can't sleep right on an uncomfortable pad.

Hi Jason wow that is amazing I thought what you had was a all in closed bug net or something not a see through hammock. I am excited to see how it holds up I would think very well for the brand.
So dutchware has a fabric lighter than this and he stacked 1000 pounds in it. I believe the monolite fabric will hold up very well. Check out the video here if interested: ruclips.net/video/UesHXVOuGbE/видео.html

I see you stayed with 10 foot length, did you keep the width the same as your last hammock and what width was it. We are both the same height as I recall.
I made this one a little wider (it's the max length of monolite fabric) I felt like an extra 2 inches of fabric will make my lay a little flatter. I found the sweet spot of the hammock last trip. But have yet to get it again. Probably take me a couple more setups to get it down.
I have a trailheadz wraith with the 1.0 monolite fabric. The only complaint I have is it sinks down quite a bit, almost to the point I have to hang my tarp low. Do you have same issue?
