Dude, you do know that there are different lifestyles depending on the people right? Like for example there are still Nomadic Families living in Tents that use Horses for Transport and RV Families live in an RV because it may be cheaper than buying an expensive home or condo. I'm in my late 20s and still live with my parents and little sister, and I still share a bedroom with my sister and Mom because we live in a two bedroom home and our grandmother who owns the house lives on the second floor. Every Family has a Different Way of Living and That is Perfectly Fine.
As a teenager, TEMPORARILY sharing a FULL SCALE BEDROOM with my sister was a nightmare. Imagine sharing a smaller space with more siblings and not just for a month or two, but for your entire childhood.. Van life is for loners or couples, not entire families.
It's funny, you cannot stand living in the same room with your sister, you are so poor, maybe you're gonna get depression, yeah🥴 People in the us are so self-centred and weak
Van child here! I hate when people glorfiy such a horrible experience especially since most people dont financially have a choice but to live out of a van with children, like my situation, its bad enough being cramped in the same room with 4+ other people but also WILLINGLY doing so instead of just buying a house with privacy for everyone is just disgusting
@@MiniM69 oh yeah, my current situation is alot better, it's a mobile home instead and I'm 18 an going to college having a actual door feels so good, but my financial situation is SO much better, thanks for the concern everyone
@@madness_maniaheyy that’s amazing!! :D i feel like being in a van and going on a road trip would be cool but being in there for life, with a bunch of people, and no privacy would be pretty bad..
Reminds me of one family I saw on here where their oldest slept in the storage under the camper, right next to the propane tanks just to have some privacy. And they all acted like it was normal and safe. The level of delusion some parents will go through to justify their crappy parenting is unreal.
I reading comments like this and i think that i’m living in some other world. What is bad in situation that you mention? Where is delusion? Did every child need a own room or something, or if parents dont have home, whey must be sterilizationed? Though your comment is top, have many likes etc, so maybe Im really leave in another world.
@@МихаилЧернега-й1уyou’re a idiot. I genuinely hope you’re just an Ai Russian bot. Kids deserve a normal life with their families where they also have personal space and don’t have to move constantly and have no friends or actual education
@@МихаилЧернега-й1уit’s not about that, sure if a family is financially struggling then yes that’s unfortunate but also understandable. The bigger argument is why would a family who seem to be financially stable willingly subject their children to less than ideal conditions when having the tools to be better. Perhaps these tiktokers are struggling, but then how are they able to spend extra money on renovations for the van rather than just renting out a more spacious apartment?
The truth about ‘Van life’ is its more for one or two people, vans aren’t meant for entire families to stay in. Plus, at that point an apartment is cheaper and provides a better quality life for families. These TikToks are ridiculous.
There are too many "Van life" channels that I'm sure are people who don't live in their vans. They're too pristine for that. The one Van life channel I really rate well is foresty forest. Just a guy going on adventures. Completely self sufficient.
Fr, its like being homeless with extra steps except you literally have the friggin money to buy a house 🤦 If people want to live in an RV don't have kids, jesus christ its that simple...
My mother, brother and I grew up poor in a tiny one bedroom apartment in a third world country so I had to sleep with my mother in a pull out sofa bed in the living room every night so my brother could have his own room for privacy. For my 15th birthday my grandmother and mother paid to get the garage renovated so I could have my own space to study and have friends over. I will be forever grateful for having such a caring and loving small family who made sacrifices for my happiness not like these fame chasing selfish parents who do not deserve to have children...
As someone who was made homeless against their will, i later purchased an rv so id never be homeless again. No shit it isnt anyones goal to be fucking homeless dude, some people like the security an rv provides. Do not harass me if you assume that this comment supports anyone in the video.
@@thealivec4tI think he was semi joking and simply poking fun of people with this many children moving into small rvs meant for 1 or 2 or at the max 3 people.
My wife and I are in a van full time.. and made sure my vasectomy was good before making the choice (and we medically check it regularly..). If we were in a situation that a child was on the way, we would be looking for the next off ramp! Awful what these parents are doing to their kids! Great video. New subscriber here!
If you think about it, this type of living condition is perfect for abuse: always on the move so teachers, friends ,family and other adults don't have time to spot anything and the kids not having enough time to form a bond with a "safe adult"(eg being teacher) so they can never report anything. Simply inhumane
THIS! 🤌🏽 YOU ARE 💯 CORRECT AND ACCURATE! I cannot stand this damn country and how children are protected in a way but not as protected as they could/should be!!! CPS should definitely be on ALL THEY BEHINDS!!!
I am a van child, we only get hotels once every 1 year. I have 5 siblings, we live in literal shelves, only like 3 inches bigger than the one on the video. I’m the oldest, I barely got an education, my parents started van life when I was 10, the barely homeschool us, the bring us to museum and other educational places and call it homeschooling, I can’t wait until I’m 18, but I probably won’t even have money for a different life, my parents don’t even give us money for chores, it seems illegal, we have to do everything, they sit on their king sized bed eating chips, while we are working 24/7. Only if I lived with my grandparents, we “live” across the country because of that. 3 more years?
I hear you. So sorry that you're spending your days like that. When you turn 18, believe in yourself, gather your birth certificate and other documents, then just leave. Meanwhile learn skills like cooking and cleaning so that you can land a job later. If you have money in your hand, you can do anything - Finishing your studies and everything
Kid. Hold on for now, it will get better. Look for a job, even far away ones. Some of them even offer accommodation. I already feel suffocated just by reading about your situation. You can do it kid. You have to get out!
Eh... I cant understand the situation completly. I mean, you could technically try to run away or something... idk. I mean... do something if you want. Or just get your stuff and run..
Yeah, most parents wouldn't. Parents like this get away with exploiting their children for money, and the children have to sacrifice so much just for their parents to treat them like garbage. I hope it was all worth it when their kids leave and never come back in the future.
I could imagine when those kids are growing up, they will open up of their experiences for being exposed online and they will hate their parents to do that.
When I was a kid we were REALLY poor. We live in a small camper that barely had room to turn around in. It was me, my mom and my brother. One of my formative memories was watching ‘The Little Drummer Boy’ on VHS on a tiny box tv in the kitchen. We barely had room for ourselves, let alone any pets. We wouldn’t even had friends over because there just wasn’t enough room. We lived on a long dirt road and had to wake up really early just to DRIVE to the bus stop to Vito school. Mom couldn’t homeschool us because she worked all day. Me, my mom and my brother had to share my moms bed, and the bathroom didn’t really work so we had to go to my grandmas house (which was always full of other family members, so that’s why we weren’t living with her.) I wouldn’t wish that on any kid. Why put your kids through this if you don’t HAVE to?
Gotta love it when parents are more concerned with “toxic comments” and “trolls” on TikTok than they are their kids safety. Social media has turned every adult into a needy, attention seeking, child.
idk if you know but addison apparently is in a mental hospital cause she attempted suic!de, plus the mother just divorced her husband, and she is now gay, dating a woman while living with her two younger kids, and if you look closely those kids only smile because they’re forced to, they look way less happier and by now i feel like addison is already de@d, and i wouldn’t be surprised, i mean look at the mother
What’s ironic is that Addison would get more privacy in a psych ward than in that RV. I’ve been to a psych ward and lived in a small RV with my family before (unrelated to each other).
@@Keyboardeater1 Not what I meant - I didn't express myself in a good way there, sorry. The original post is about how any of this can be legal - and the reason is it's legal because in the US the parents can do (basically) whatever they want with their kids. That is considered freedom by many and celebrated as such. How ever in my mind, this isn't freedom at all - it's indifference and neglect. Not by these people in this video, but rather by society as a whole.
Van child here! when I was 8 I got to live in a van for 2 years straight and it was a nightmare the toilet didn’t even work so you had to walk or drive to the bathroom and shower and the van was so small (one time it was raining and there was a big hole on the ceiling and it was leaking A LOT) I had to stay inside the van for a long time until my dad arrived for lunch. Now I hate going camping in a van!❤

As a teen who travels full time with my 16yo sister and parents it’s not anything like this we both have full sized beds and do school for 4-5 hours a day but during the summer we get to see a lot of the country
I was a van life kid. I would've stayed a van life kid, but we stayed a weekend at our grandparents with our rv parked nearby and it was stolen, and I think my grandparents had some steal it because they realized how miserable and awful it was for us (me and my little brother). My older brother, 14 at the time, loved it for one reason. We shared a room. I was a young, 10-12 year old girl in 2019-2021. My parents refused to give us a 'sex ed' because we weren't old enough yet. I was the most innocent kid, I'd make cringey gacha videos and play with my stuffed animals. One time, I had a nightmare, so I climbed into my older brother's bunk and asked if we could cuddle. Things escalated, and it became a relationship. I was confused and scared, but he threatened to 'break up' with me if I told anyone, which was scary to me because I thought he wouldn't love me anymore. The rv shakes every time someone moved, so there's no way my parents didn't know, but boys will be boys in their mind. He stopped 6 months ago, long after the rv had been stolen. If we had never gotten in that stupid rv and had to do that dumb homeschooling, I could've protected myself. Now my mom wonders why I act so 'slutty' and why I don't like the way my little brother looks at me. He reminds me of my older brother. The rv ruined my life, my family, and my happiness. Please despite how innocent and awesome your kids are, don't buy one. Ever.
Bro.... You lived in a f*ing van , and they still couldn't protect you. I feel sooo sooo soo sorry for what happened to you. You are the main victim, but , I feel sorry for your elder brother as well. It's has nothing 'boys will be boys': No normal sibling whether boy or girl, men or women would ever THINK (or have it cross his mind) about doing anything s*xual with a sibling. It's so embedded in our society, and social thinking that people's bodies and mind automatically reject it. Imagine being so isolated from society, and being kept so ignorant, that one reverts to his animal state. The abuse. I hope you found a way to recover from all this, and have some peace. People should be aware about the dangers of so much isolation and keeping your kids ignorant about the world.
I understand your pain but being mean to your little brother will not help. He did not act against you. I hope you find peace and find yourself in a better place
That is....heart-breaking. You brother abused you, and blackmailed you. I hope you can later on turn on your life and heal from such traumatic experiences.
i know some people want to live like that and you should try it but not if you have kids parents have RESPONSABILITIES and between all of those there is providing your kids a space they comfortably can call home but these van life parents dont get that when you become a parent you give your life to helping your kid addapt into the world not leave them in a truck and give them no education.

An eerie fact about the Bethune family , the parents were actually the ones who accidentally filmed dash cam footage of Gabby Petitos abandoned van that was on the side of the road while they drove down a road in the Grand Tetons. They did report it to the police.

@@twstudios8538 Okay So do you know the Case of Gabby Petitio and how she and her fiancé Brian Laundrie travelled across America in their van in 2021 and then Gabby went missing ? They were travelling through the Grand Tetons and Gabby stopped answering her family’s calls , leading to a large search for her . Her Gabby and her van were missing , but oddly Brian came back to Florida and stayed with his parents even though his fiance was missing. The police were searching hard , and then the Bethune family were driving down a road in the Grand Tetons when they filmed Gabbys abandoned van that was on the side on the road and reported it to the police. Sadly , after searching a bit more the police found Gabbys remains 😞. Brian later went missing and his body was found. It was determined he committed scuicide and after looking in his diary , it was discovered that Brian had killed her by strangling her . Apparently, they were in a domestic violence situation and even though Gabby and Brian posted one video on RUclips and Gabby posted lots of pictures on her Instagram that portrayed that she and Brian were happy and in love , the truth was actually very sad and chilling . One witness claimed they had seen Gabby and Brian arguing in a restaurant and that Gabby had slapped Brian . The police were called regarding a domestic dispute, but they didn’t really do much apart from taking to Brian and Gabby . It’s very unfortunate that Gabby will never get justice. And it’s heartbreaking how she suffered. RIP Gabby 😢❤️
Regarding the overcrowded van during the holidays, this is not an issue imo. As a boy scout we often slept in a Canadian tent of 6 to 8 people. You just have enough space to sleep next to each other and you basically live outside. As long as it's temporary it's fine. Sleeping on a hard floor however is not, just dirt or grass is more comfortable, and using a mat is a no brainier, even if it's a thin one. Also living full time in a 2 bedroom apartment as 12 is not fine either. But a crowded tent, van, or airnbnb during a vacation, we've all done it.
Did anyone watch that video where the child asked for a night at a hotel as their only birthday present? 15 yr old here. As a teenager, my privacy is something that I cherish. There is nothing that could ever replace my privacy, like my chats with friends. I don't live in a van or in a small house but I have a decently sized family with a toddler brother, the size of my extended family is akin to 5 times the population in Stowe, USA and it is a flippin miracle that my parents gave me the privacy I need, with or without my extended family. Giving a teenager privacy is a bare minimum that shows that " hey, we trust you and we respect your boundaries". I will forever pray the best for kids that go tbrough with van life parents. I will say that English isnt my first language
The problem is that most parents view their kids as their property. They don't see their kids privacy as something important, they just give them the bare minimum and then they expect their kids to be grateful for it. Abusive parents are one of the worst kind of people. I'm happy to hear that your parents are not like that. You've won the life lottery. I wish you all the best!
@paulinad.2595had that issue too. turned 18 5 months ago and left. My mum legit asked me why I left and was oblivious to the idea that she first got rid of my door. Grounded me for 2 months for having a girl over etc. now I work online for a ai company and earn a lot of money. Now she’s asking if I want to come home. Only because I’ve made a lot of money😂
That “incredibly educational” junior ranger program is just an activity book. I just recently traveled to several national parks (22). The littles did the junior ranger at each one. Most of the packet is telling you not to litter and then has coloring pages. Expected more out of them. Was not educational at all and especially in replacement of proper education.
Parents like these don’t care about their children as people and only view them as an extension of themselves, they’re the same kinda parents who wonder why their kids stop talking to them once they turn 18. Trust me as a child abuse survivor parents like this never learn, they straight up don’t care, that’s why the mother posted “I don’t know a single unhappy RV kid”, it’s intentional ignorance. It’s pure selfishness by the parents, they only care about their own happiness and don’t care about their kids physical and mental health, education, happiness, privacy.

As a teen that was homeschooled for 4 years and lived in a trailer. It is hell, your only friends are online and you have no education. I almost had to repeat the 9th grade once I went back to school even after I tried my hardest. Another hard part after going back to school is you barely know how to make friends.
I was homeschooled my entire school life, and while I disagree on the education part, since that's more about whether or not your parents are good at teaching, I can absolutely agree that you get no freinds. made worse in my case since my mom thought everyone online was a pedo.
Homeschooling requires a specific type of parent with certain level of education ability. I had to go to adult education, as I only had grade 9 at the age of 18. School is far from perfect, and I thankfully was well socialized due to sports, religion, and nearby other homeschooling but not so many have the same situation.
@@TMOFApolliosHow did you waste so much of your early life not studying, do you blame your parents for being neglectful, I strongly resonate with your comment since I am in a similar situation just 16 instead of 18
It's a shame. There are SO many activities and things for homeschoolers to do where they get to socialize and make friends...if more homeschool parents would be proactive about finding those. This is what I try to do for my kids: co-op, homeschool group events, local community events (we have 2 nature centers nearby that hold classes for homeschoolers), art classes locally at craft stores like Michael's, and so much more

U-Boats are those dastardly villains who sink our ships, while submarines are those gallant and noble craft which sink theirs. -Wiston Churchill
I just wanna say I’ve met the family of nomads. They recently moved to where I have lived my whole life and Addison starting going to my school. We became super close friends and one time after school I went to their house . Addison mom is super strict and her whole life is revolved around social media . Right when I got into the car Addisons sister called her mom freaking out because her brother wouldn’t stop yelling . I got to the house and it was pretty nice but there are a lot of rules and there really isn’t anything to do. Acouple weeks later Addison stopped showing up to school which I was confused about because they still live in the same house . Soon I also realized she stopped showing up in the videos aswell. Addison never did her end of the year tests or anything she just kinda vanished. I think her mom sent her away to another wilderness camp or another mental hospital because she used to do it all the time in the past . I even tried texting Addison and her sister messaged me back from her phone saying “she can’t text right now” and that she didn’t have her phone . Wherever Addison is at right now I hope she’s okay . It makes me so sad her whole family is in Europe right now having so much fun and she wasn’t even able to finish her school year. Maybe somehow she will see this idk but Addison I really miss you and hope you’re doing okay .
Also adding on to this , Addison stated to me that she hated the camper life. She lived in a camper with no privacy or anything for 4 years. There was so much going on behind the scenes that obviously her mother didn’t wanna talk about on the internet . It’s so upsetting and again, just hope she’s okay

Everyone: "Sunny won against kris tyson. What's he gonna say?" Sunny: "kids sleeping on the floor, pets held in tiny cages [...] you're still scratching the surface of the worst van life"
Heres a summarization of the video: This video exposes the harsh reality of some families living in vans full-time. It discusses several families who gained popularity on TikTok for showcasing their nomadic lifestyle. However, the video reveals the downsides of this lifestyle, including cramped living conditions, lack of privacy, homeschooling challenges, and potential mental health struggles for the children involved. The video starts by highlighting the Red White and Bethon family, who gained 11.4 million views by showcasing their kids' tiny beds. The beds were so small that the children had to climb in and out of them using rock climbing holds. The parents defended the beds as being spacious, but the video reveals that they had a king-size bed for themselves. The video also shows that the children were forced to do their schoolwork on a tiny kitchen table and were punished if they didn't help out with the van. Another family featured in the video is the Family of Nomads. They also gained popularity for their van life videos, but the video reveals that their eldest daughter, Addison, was a 15-year-old teenager who had no privacy. The video shows that Addison hated the RV and wanted to go to a hotel for her 15th birthday. The video also reveals that Addison struggled with her mental health and had to take a break from social media. The video also discusses the Happy Caravan family, who lived in a tiny apartment with 12 people. The video shows that the children slept on the floor and that the parents had a king-size bed for themselves. The video also reveals that the children were homeschooled and that the parents did not follow any official curriculum. The video concludes by discussing the Wild Family Life family, who are called the most hated van life family on TikTok. The video reveals that the family lives in a van with three kids, two parents, and a new boyfriend who is described as a homeless junkie. The video also reveals that the children are homeschooled and that the parents do not follow any official curriculum. The video also reveals that the children are unhappy with their lifestyle and that the parents are not aware of the challenges they are facing. Overall, the video exposes the harsh reality of van life for families with children. It reveals that the lifestyle can be cramped, chaotic, and stressful for children. The video also raises concerns about the mental health of children who are forced to live in such a confined space.
this was my fathers mentality growing up, its not something since social media. although i wasn't homeschooled or lived in a confined space like this, he thought it was good to force us to do this every weekend he could, every holiday, every chance he could, except there was no trips anywhere, it was just us in the middle of no where, all jammed into a space with no privacy. he then wondered why i chose to stay at home when ever he asked if i wanted to go as an older teen. it was seriously damaging to me and my brothers mental health and relationship, let alone with him.
@@Davie03q mine was a river house, but had the same amount of space. The tiny square toilet was also doubled as a shower, so you could shit and shower at the same time lol.
I live in a fifth wheel. Just me and my dog. I own the RV and pay $400 a month for a spot and I STAY there. It's nice knowing I can get up and go but I have a job so I have to stay close lol THAT'S how campers are supposed to be used. For single people and MAYBE for couples with no kids. Once you have children, you need to be able to give them space and privacy. Especially as they start becoming teens.
I’m an adult who lives in 26ft or 28ft camper and let me tell you… I’m tired of it… only been doing it for about a year and I’m beyond disappointed in myself for allowing this to happen. (A serious of unfortunate events and bad decisions led to me living in this camper… and while I’m grateful to have a place to live and not be homeless im just not happy with it and want better) I couldn’t imagine forcing children to live in it as well unless out of necessity but obviously it’s not a necessity for them.
BAHAHAH SO REAL All jokes aside how will they learn their abcs, writing, math and languages? Living in a van is just SO stupid like living in a camper van is way more useful even though it is the same thing
I know, right? Like, after 2 weeks or so, it'll be smelling worse than a charter bus bathroom without proper sewage disposal (which is pretty expensive).
I can at least understand doing this if it's just you or your partner who are willingly taking part in this, but forcing your children to is disgusting. As an adult, you can say what you can and can't do. As a child, your parents have to. This is child abuse.
It depends on the situation. Because if it's forcing them into knowing what's right or wrong isn't that bad. But if you do know it's wrong and you still keep forcing them into doing it either way. Now it's child abuse. Just remember it all depends on how the parents think and what they force their child into.
I can relate to the kid posting about his life in an RV. I'm 16 with 9 siblings and we've been traveling in an RV for almost 2 months now. Its horrible. We have to share three sticky beds and our dog has sleep on the stairs to the door (which is a problem for him because when we turn on the generator, the metal stairs heats up). Our mom just vlogs and vlogs and vlogs, constantly taking pictures of us, the scenery, and the food. You may be thinking we should thankful for what we got, as our parents tell us, but no. Its not like that. Its hell. Not that I enjoy traveling all the time, RV or not, but I want to have a social life. And I want to feel like I earned it. I'm currently doing an online college course and its the closest thing I have to having actual curriculum. But I can't do irl studies, such as chemistry, biology, and such, because it requires me to be there. But my siblings are a lot less fortunate. They have to do these stupid outdated books and practice cursive everyday, which has been going on for years now. I wish i could say something about it. but it never works out for me at all. Whenever i do anything to question the situation, I have to do exercise numbering by the hundreds. That also applies to anything else my sibling do wrong, as I am apparently held accountable for it and its all my fault. My mom has been previously accused of domestic abuse on 2 occasions, but the justice system never followed up. My dad is too scared to say anything now because she's basically brainwashed him and controlling him. And he's just about hanging on a thread with his job (he works from home). So yeah, the traveling life isn't as fun as it seems. Edit: I know it sounds very untrue, and I don't really expect many to believe it. But I'm planning to call the police or other services.
If you're not lying about this comment, you need to stand up for yourself, I know my dad would have me fd up if he thinks I'm bout to live like sardines with a bunch of other people in a single RV.
What happens is the parents (usually the mom) want to do vanlife and the kids are treated more as an inconvenience and a burden. Every vanlife influencer sleeps in a king size bed while their kids sleep wherever they can fit.
that part isnt entirely their fault though. rvs are just outfitted very generically and cant really be changed unless you are really willing to put down money but it seems like these parents dont really care too much anyway
Finally somebody said it. The last couple was the worst example. It's all about the mom. 2 different men living with her and all her kids.. I hate my generation. Just thoughtless leeches.
The current bf looks like he could also be a drug addict, just lovely for those poor kids, living in a family of junkies without even a stable enviroment, constantly relocating, so they literally cannot form any stable bonds and so have nobody they can turn to.
I seriously hate family vloggers. These people don't show any care towards their kids, and always torment them. Show no lack of privacy. I can tell that their kids hate living in a RV. Not to mention destroying their lives too.
This is why social media needs to be heavily monitored or even banned. So called „family content“ needs to be deleted right now. No one under the age of 18 should be allowed to be displayed in public like that. Not by themselves, not by their parents.

The most interesting part I find about this “lifestyle” is how the parents are always the only ones doing the talking. The parents always say they’re happy, and whenever the comments ask if the kids are happy, the parents are the ones speaking on their behalf, saying they’re happy, comfortable and love this “lifestyle” they have no control over.
I can’t imagine living in a camper for years I went on a 1 month long camping trip and on the 2nd week I couldn’t stop crying I missed the dogs, my room, privacy I hated it but I still had my hamster at least but I couldn’t play with her like a dog.
I unfortunately know a guy like this. One of my customers has 5 kids and lives in a bus. Everything you would expect. Crazy strict parenting, "school is evil", the kids talk super formal all the time, even the oldest 16 year old has no phone or internet access, etc. He makes me a lot of money, but I know his kids despise him. It's been a hard ethical issue for me for if I should even continue doing work for him.
You're not doing anything wrong. They're gonna live this way anyways. If by "doing work" I assume you mean working on his bus, think of it this way... If you refused to do maintenance and renovations on the bus, then those kids might live in even worse conditions. The only thing worse than living in a bus is living in a bus that's falling apart and doesn't even run.

The stupid parents couldn’t take it as a sign that those poor kids just want to live normally
Btw, Thanks for the great content, i was on the brinks of collapse and you were my inspiration to start my YT journey and content creation and it was the best decision i ever made so thank you again

People in the original video were telling the parents Addison obviously wants to live in a stable place and the mother made a follow-up making it all about her and how she wants to travel and is happy.
@Joseph_14441Thank You.
I will say that English isnt my first language
pretty good english to me tho
Really good English👍
Your parents neglecting you isn't good..
The family at 4:19 they are now divorced, quit van life, and lesbian now. Lol. The kids must be traumatised af.
Wait are they actually? Who has custody of the kids?
Parents like these don’t care about their children as people and only view them as an extension of themselves, they’re the same kinda parents who wonder why their kids stop talking to them once they turn 18. Trust me as a child abuse survivor parents like this never learn, they straight up don’t care, that’s why the mother posted “I don’t know a single unhappy RV kid”, it’s intentional ignorance.
It’s pure selfishness by the parents, they only care about their own happiness and don’t care about their kids physical and mental health, education, happiness, privacy.
Yeah, like isn't that the concept of every family vloggers. Its literal human garbage who see children's as tools for clout.

Trailers aren't bad, campers, buses, and vans are though. So is homeschooling for the most part.

*DEPRESSING FACT* Submarine and U-boat crews had better food, more sleeping space and much better morale than kids of these “parents”
Also the officers and the submarine’s captain also had a cramped space, they didn’t have the advantage of space these “parents” have over their children
The bunk beds in the first video reminded me of the crew’s quarters on the U-48 and they had far more space
Oh..
Cps
Heck the sub you can walk through in nyc the living quarters have more space.
The distinction between u-boats and submarines is this:
Enemy submarines are to be called U-Boats. The term submarine is to be reserved for Allied under water vessels. U-Boats are those dastardly villains who sink our ships, while submarines are those gallant and noble craft which sink theirs.

@xoktf I hope she's alright too. Her parents deserve prison time. How is this not child abuse.
I could understand having an RV or van like this strictly for road trip vacations but to full on live in? No, not when kids and pets are involved.

One thing that pisses me off about these people is that their giving homeschoolers a bad name, and as a homeschooled highschooler its really disappointing.

Right, that's what happens when bullying, educational pressure, etc.. are all shoved down in the minds of kids from a very young age, they become isolated despite spending so much time with others in schools.

Sunny: "kids sleeping on the floor, pets held in tiny cages [...] you're still scratching the surface of the worst van life"
He knows he's won. And now he refuses to acknowledge the fools that cursed him. A chad indeed
Kris probably does that to kids too 😤
For Sunny, the Chris Tyson video was a Tuesday.
Heres a summarization of the video:
This video exposes the harsh reality of some families living in vans full-time.
And the parents will be surprised when they live alone at a retirement home

Bro call CPS
If you're not lying about this comment, you need to stand up for yourself, I know my dad would have me fd up if he thinks I'm bout to live like sardines with a bunch of other people in a single RV.
Pretty sure this isn't true, but if it is, call the freaking police
What happens is the parents (usually the mom) want to do vanlife and the kids are treated more as an inconvenience and a burden. Every vanlife influencer sleeps in a king size bed while their kids sleep wherever they can fit.
@Joseph_14441 what the hell is wrong with you
that part isnt entirely their fault though. rvs are just outfitted very generically and cant really be changed unless you are really willing to put down money but it seems like these parents dont really care too much anyway
The kids are used as props and then promptly stuffed away when the cameras are put away
There's no way that I would have done this if I was still married. Once the kids are grown and off to college..then I will fully embrace the van life.

You're not doing anything wrong. They're gonna live this way anyways. If by "doing work" I assume you mean working on his bus, think of it this way...
