Never understood how people can watch a video and then comment negatively as if you asked for there negative opinion. Big yeti fan! But even if I wasn’t I’d spend my time researching non yeti products if I was in the market. Great video man! Had the tank 85, just sold it as I’m not much of a beer drinker anymore and we rarely used that gigantic tub. Going to invest in the Tundra 45 and I keep on coming back to this vid! Thanks for sharing!
As a hater of the Yeti hype, I did everything I could to find an alternative.....until I did my research. I tried really hard NOT to get a Yeti, but I have to give credit where credit is due. The design/performance/price-point value got me to spend my hard-earned $$$ on a Yeti Tundra 45. We were looking for a cooler for a 600 mile overland trip with limited refueling stops while the cooler was in the back of a pick-up in temperatures in the +90s for up to 7 hours a day, with limited space. When compared to others of the same storage volume, the Yeti 45 had a smaller footprint. The trail was full-on 4x4 and there was a lot of bouncing, bumping, dust, & limited space. The Tundra did exactly what we expected. For bear proofing, I just bought a couple of Clevis pins from a hardware store for $2.50 ea. For those Yeti haters out there....get over yourselves...I had to.
After having a tank, tundra 60, roadie 24, flip 8, flip 12, a couple totes... I have to admit I can't stop buying their stuff. The flip 12 is my favorite. I think an M30 would be great for camping.
@@paulcarlin5181 i quit drinking and also don't party much anymore... don't use anything besides the flip 12 and the camino totes anymore. the roadie 24 I use somtimes for grocery runs far away
Currently using the RTIC 20 and RTIC 52 absolutely love these coolers would recommend to anyone. That being said I’m falling victim to the newly updated Yeti 24 roadie. The new latches and the navy blue color are Gold. Haven’t pulled the trigger yet but watching these vids might be enough haha. Keep up the great content and hike safe my man 🙏
All the attributes you pointed out can be found in many brands. Yeti is the forefather but def not the best. I have one with wheels but otherwise I’d be looking at a USA made one.
Hey mate how do you tie down the yeti in the back of the keep there? I’m tipping having that bad boy flying around in a car accident would not be ideal!

Not worth the price, heavy and not handy, for the same amount of money you can buy something that really does cool with batteries, not a large box from a yeti. I do not recommend, do not buy

Thanks for the walk through. This video sealed the deal for me as to whether my family needed the 45 or 60. Thanks.

One of the best yeti review videos I’ve seen 👌🏽

Hike happy?......with a YETI cooler!?!?! Well there goes my base weight....😶
Just 1 ice??
Does it load bear though? I want a cooler I can sit on or pack stuff on top of when I load up
I can sit on my 45 as a seat no problem. I weigh about 90kg/200lb so it shouldn't be an issue to pack on top of either
