i'm just going to say it, you've gained 54 rating points in the last 540 days. at about 1 point every ten days, this challenge will take more than 13 years and contain more than 5000 videos
I don’t know the rating of the commentators but this is far from a decent game. Leaving pawns undefended, not being aware of them being attacked, losing position from the opening to the queen blunder. Analysis without even realizing why mistakes are mistakes… this was not a good game Patrick, don’t let them fool you!
The pawn wasn't simply undefended though was it, not exactly hung, unless you strong player you might miss that sometimes. Are you a strong player I dunno? Would satisfy me to know.
Nice win! but i really think you should play more than one game a day, since your lack of playing can make improvement slower. you do have great dedication though, uploading everyday isnt easy but i do believe in you!
Friends tell you when you got spinach stuck in your teeth. A strange blunder by your opponent. I wonder if it was a mouse slip. Nonetheless, you having more time was a significant advantage, regardless of the evaluation, and definitely could've caused whatever that was.
Once again you got yourself behind but managed to scramble to survive. Positionally he walked all over you for most of the game. Could easily have gone the other way.
Great game Patrick. Your thinking and planning was way better. Just one thing, remember yesterday I said there's more plans you can think of. Here are two examples in this game. Double Attack: When his knight jumped in at 10:35, you could have moved your bishop to F2 and now your queen sees his passed pawn with your bishop. Now there's two attackers on his passed pawn to his one defender. Skewer:At 12:27 he moves his queen beside his rook diagonally. You should look at your dark squared bishop. Can I skewer him? No. Why? Because bishop would be undefended. How do I defend it? Ahhh, queen to F2.
Well played Patrick. You had a tough position but you held your nerve.
"Maybe it is worth while to really focus on moving quickly in the beginning so I have all this time left over..." Patrick, Eureka!!!!
Dude keep it up, this series is great!
Quality thought process and keeping a focus on time.

Careful, this kind of objectivity will get you classified as a hater around here.

@@menso3852how’s that relevant ? Will you say it’s a good game when I’m losing for 40 moves and then opponent blunders?
