Lovely dog. We got a springer mixed with a miniature poodle recently instead as the health issues of the cavs terrify me, plus I wanted a bit more energy.
What a beautiful , healthy and happy dog !! I’d love a King Charles spaniel but their price (to buy a puppy) & extensive health problems puts me off. Or are the news stories of spinal problems etc exaggerated , are most ok ?
Although they can be a little expensive, they are the calmest and cutest of dogs, when researching for a Cavalier the pros people mention are 100% true, they are calm gentle and don’t bark unless there is a bird 😂 (Also they are so amazing with kids and families) But for the cons of having one, they vary depending on the parents, like grooming once a week isn’t as necessary for mine as she has short fur, but for my grandmothers cavalier, she needs to groom him almost every day, and some King Charles may have heart diseases, but mine so far has been the healthiest dog I have ever owned, also I’ve never heard anything about spinal problems? Do be careful with money and do a little more research, but most importantly don’t let a little con stop you from having the best decade of your life, with your future Cavalier ❤️
