Observations: - The item pickups did get distributed between you two by the game (it didnt always go to the one who physically picked it up). - Bricks have broken without either of you guys noticing, they were not only gone for the rest of the round but also gone afterwards in the shop (lee somehow managed to buy a replacement brick without noticing). And the higher-level bricks did NOT award more materials nor have a lower chance of breaking, it was still only 60, so bricks are definitely not a great long-term weapon (more of an early game holdover to transition away from later). - A dead player still gains materials and experience, so it's actually not bad at all to die if the other player can survive.
Hmm. Near as I can tell, when you have the same number of chests, it's random who gets it, when one of you have have more than the other, it goes to whoever is short.
I'm thinking that the chest reward may alternate between characters, but who gets it first per level ALSO alternates. (or maybe "if # of collected chests are even, roll randomly for who gets the next one.")
I've been hopelessly spoiled by watching other people play, like Retromation, as well as sinking 160+ hours into the game myself. Found myself being "that guy" and damn near pointing at the screen, vomiting angry noises. Watching it now, you fellas did a wonderful job and it was a valiant show.
For my first time playing, I went for what was easy: Speedy gets a damage bonus based on speed, Lances give +speed. With more games under my belt, I can branch out and try more. -J
@gwenthor the lances also scale their own damage partially based on the max speed of the character (as seen by the foot icon with the % next to it in the lance's damage line) so double dipping with speed on lances like James did is a great way to go IMO.
Man! I didn't realize they were gonna team up with Wanderbots for this video!!
Super stoked for some two player co-op action!
I'm here for Co-op Brotato.
Also, Potato James drank too much coffee apparently :P
FYI the brick splits up into more materials as you upgrade so while scary it does pay for itself.
For someone who's never played james you did amazing!
I have found that watching someone play a game like this is surprisingly helpful for learning what to do.
The king is fun when you find legendary tagged weapons

Double old man is fun because the arena scales according to both players. You don't have ti travel far to gather the random loot.
Oh wow, I was NOT expecting multiplayer Brotato!

I feel like the Speedy character would benefit most from fast weapons rather than the lances

@@UltraC I absolutely winced when you didn't lock the level 3 trident, though.
It was all over the place, though that was because of James nyoooming lol
