I live in California and will be taking my Property and Casualty state exam a week from today. I am completely new to the insurance industry. Am I starting out on the wrong path by pursuing my P&G License in California as a way to start my new career in the insurance industry?
I don’t think it’s for me to say what path is right or wrong. There are so many options and avenues that attract different people. I really can’t help here, sorry :(
You should off to the races after 30 days of hands on training… 🐎 During this time, the managers will be helping you close as many deals as possible though so you’ll start seeing money right away.
ALWAYS the most Fabulous information and training. I stopped viewing my IMO’s training (I’ll occasionally check in) and just full on refer to you for How-To. I also took up reading “The New Model of Selling” by Jerry Acuff & Jeremy Miner. Thank you for sharing the “numbers” here - the truth! 💣💥🔥💪🏼
I just booked an appointment with you for next week. Very interested and looking forward to learn more and hopefully join your team. I am licensed in NJ. Great insight and awesome opportunity, makes a lot of sense.
I have to be honest, I’m kind of confused. Where is the rest of their funds going if they aren’t even spending anything on leads. Why aren’t they getting at least half of what they wrote back? Why are your agents making 20k but only receiving 8k back for example? What percentage does your IMO pay? You never mentioned that.
I've been following you for 2 months watching everything you post. I am currently studying for my license with the intent to work on your team. Thank you Dana,, for providing us out here with factual, and value informative tips on how we can truly be successful in this industry.
What you’re saying makes sense! Id like to know How much business is the Average Agent on your team issuing every month? Because obviously not everybody is gonna be top 4 or 5. What is a realistic number to guage?
That’s a fair question, Jordan! The average agent will issue $5-$8k per month, and to be honest, they don’t last. It’s important that you understand that the work ethic of 80% of agents is very poor. Less than 2 hours of talk time per day, not an exaggeration. The reason only a handful of agents are doing well is because only a handful of agents put in the time it takes to see the success. Hope that helps.

$40K issued and only got paid $5500??? That's insanely low. I'll keep my 120% comp. My leads are self generated. If I issue $20K I'm getting paid about $14,400 People paying $30 for leads are not smart. You can generate your own leads for $3-5 per lead. Live & exclusive FE Leads.
Hello Dana, I am loving your videos! I would like to join your team. I am a licensed life and health agent in Northern California, specifically San Francisco Bay Area. I have been looking for the right life insurance company to join this September. Are you currently recruiting in my area?
I spent 20 years as a digital marketer and ignored recruiting efforts that entire time. Taking my Life/Health exam next week and really like what I'm hearing here. Just subscribed!
On point and true. There is not a better opportunity in FE or insurance for that matter. The training alone is invaluable and worth $$$$. Had Dana been in Oklahoma..........🙂 BTW I'm not with the same company and it really irks the company i'm with when I point to Dana as the industries best trainer.
@@finalexpensetelesales Would that be the toll free number ending in "4303"? I backed off of even considering this business unless I could work with you. I'm licensed. Too much BS. We've exchanged a few messages in the past, but I don't expect you to remember. Haha 😁
I wish she was in Pennsylvania I’m newly licensed in Life & Health and feeling lost. I don’t want to tap out of the industry before I even begin . I’m in an IMO and the numbers were never broken down like this for me . Appreciate you Dana for the real and rawness of this video .
Hi Dana, my name is Randy Shaw and I would like more information and possibly move forward with you. I just passed my Life and Health exam and I’m looking for a company that offers a great, in depth training program. Thank you!
Hi Randy! Start by going to our Q&A at TayloredLegacy.com/telesalesqa to get an overview of our program and state territories. If everything looks good, there’s a link to book a call from there!
And from the looks of that spreadsheet, some of your agents might be part time or not working that many days per month, and still bringing in nice money...

Do you require a minimum number of non res states to get started? What’s the estimated cost to get started if I were to go the free lead route?
Yes you need 5 of our 17 to start. You can read more on our website at tayloredlegacy.com/telesalesqa
Hello Dana- Great video! Do you all have live television transfer leads available in your program?
Please schedule a call on our website to talk about the details of the program.
What is the typical learning curve time frame / ramp up period to be seeing any of the figures (from bottom to top)?

Love to hear this!! Thanks for sharing and for being here :)
Thank you for this video Dana, I'm life licensed in Michigan... I'm also very lost and haven't sold anything... do you work with Michigan agents?
No I'm sorry, we don't

Thank you for booking but I’m not able to take agents from NJ. It’s outside of my territory.

At minute 2:30 I say exactly what my agents are getting paid.

Great video Dana! And obviously, this is before tax money, right?
Always!! This is a 1099 industry

Hi Dana! Looks like still zero chance of doing business in Pennsylvania?
Ya nothing has changed… although lately I’ve told people to call Lincoln directly to put pressure on them 😉

I would like to see the average agent, not the top agents for that month. Like the other things you said about training and help.
An average agent makes $2000-$4000/mo and unfortunately don't last long. Average doesn't make it long term in this business.
I'm here... ears and mind open...
Is Florida in your territory
And from the looks of that spreadsheet, some of your agents might be part time or not working that many days per month, and still bringing in nice money...
That’s correct.
It's a hustle without any doubt. If you have the knack you can make a lot of income. No knack you starve. It's not for everybody. Sales never is.
Dont forget the amount of stress you go through spending that kind of coin on leads....You better be closing!
Absolutely!!!
The cost of business is high. The cost of broke, too, is high. 😆
Is Ohio in your territory?
No, it’s not :(
