Wow. An orchestral accompaniment. I believe that's the first time its been done with this piece. Honestly I think it suits it wonderfully. And bravo to Vengerov, he's the only one out there who nails the shit out of this piece every time.
+IncrediblyBlackObeseMan IsBlack joshua bell has a full orchestral version of this piece with flutes and oboes and the full orchestra. also ivry gitlis. they can be found here on youtube too. though not on video.
@@Ysmir. lol yeah ladus wan acting like he died or something😂 like he still plays and performs, not a lot right now though and is definitely teaching more than performing, this comment may make sense in like 10 years but this performance wasn’t even that long ago lol
So hard to find other Ysaye besides the 6 sonatas. This is the greatest gift to me as a big Ysaye fan. The string orchestra is excellent and Venerov plays like a god, musical and full of spirit and great violin sound.
Bravissimo! what wonderful applauds. what an incredible piece played by the Russian master Vengerov. i only know Saint-Saëns through The Carnival of Animals. this piece is so beautiful- i love the theme. how in the hell do they all play so in unison. always found that incredible. What a smile! :) 🌷
The technique is very difficult, but it seems that playing the violin is easy and the facial expression is rich. I learn this piece with him as a template

@@mariorobe4805 Vengerov's great too, sure, but his Sibelius is a bit too showy. Bell's interpretation has much more depth and nuance. Each note has its own character and leads perfectly to the next, creating a beautiful and complex tapestry of interpretation. Vengerov just doesn't have that same attention to the finer details and variety that Bell does. But your ears have to be pretty astute to pick up on the finer details, so I'm not sure if you'll be able to catch on to it ;)

carlos santana Oh cool, didn't know that. Thanks for pointing that out.
When Vengerov played the violin, he always smiled and was very involved in the music. I learned this piece by using his performance as a template
why the past tense? he still plays, still smiles, is still involved in music :)

Saint Saens, Ysaye, Vengerov. A magical dream in music.
Toujours magnifique VENGEROV !!!!
Sencillamente MARAVILLOSO!!!! Gracias Maestro Vengerov por su virtuosismo y arte! 💕🎶
Toujours plein de contrastes dans les interprétations de Maxime Vengerov: on ne s'ennuie jamais !
the greatest of any era

Tuve la gracia de escucharte en vivo , tan magnífico , quedé petrificado cuando te ví no pude ni saludarte solo cruzamos sonrisas ..
A very interesting arrangement with the string orchestra. Vengerov is no. 1 every time.
-- Vengerov, tout simplement exceptionnel. --

7:10 the wink! Haha, classic Vengerov ;)
LOVE IT!!!!!

joshua bell has an orchestral version with full orchestra of this.
Tennis Grinder Joshua Bell's Tchaikovsky, Sibelius, and Bruch are wayyy better than Vengerov's, fite me
@@arazaratsyan6478 nope vengerov wayyyyy better
@@arazaratsyan6478 both are fantastic but in my opinion, Maxim is more energetic and inspiring

OMG 8:08
I would like to learn more about the orchestra -- looks like young people?
It's because it was during a music festival
The orchestra is named the "menuhin soloists", these are all students of the Menuhin Academy :)
To my mind this etude sounds better on piano
8:09 are you fucking kidding me
