I dont think the lyrics are directly translated here but somethings I like about chinese music is how literal and metaphorical the wording is at the same time.
before the chinese music, I used to be into european marching music (more left wing, although I have some of the right wing nationalist ones stuck in my head) but ngl, it feels like it has a less range of emotion. Like angry, militant, sad, optimistic, while the chinese music has blends of all of these and has more emotion to them. Chinese music also feels more in roots with people.
