Depends on the school, Some D3's are better than Many D2's. The School Griff plays at is a solid school so they're as good as some D1's but the level of play really depends a lot on the school and conference more than the division between D2 and D3.
I’ve been in both mate my opinion ncaa is consistently better as it has 3 divisions separating the poor teams from the good teams. The naia is a lot smaller so one week you could play against a team that are awful and the next a class team full of ex pros or older players as the naia is far more lenient with their eligibility rules 👍🏻

The biggest thing I’ve noticed after transferring from an NCAA D2 school (Young Harris) to an NAIA school (Reinhardt) is IQ. When at the D2 level I realized the game moved a lot faster than it did when I transferred to NAIA. This doesn’t mean that kids aren’t as athletic, but generally their awareness of the game wasn’t as high. Now considering I played lacrosse it’s probably different than soccer. But after the years I spent at the NAIA level, I also started noticing more kids were choosing NAIA schools over NCAA schools because NAIA schools are allowed to give more scholarship money than NCAA teams. Thus, that IQ gap narrowed. It’s funny because my teammates from Young Harris used to always talk down to me for transferring to NAIA. 2 years later and we ended up beating them. Choose what school best fits what you want to do and don’t let a silly NCAA logo deter you from choosing an NAIA school.
