Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. Ubiquiti, please do more videos like this to keep your customers in the loop on new GUI and hardware introductions; your videos are great, just do more of them.
Excellent stuff, especially the ability to search for license plates. To be fully functional, there needs to be a way to export the data. Ability to flag plates on a blacklist and get push notifications also needs to be on the road map. Was disappointed to see that the G5 Pro I just bought does not support ALPR, and that stepping down. Still, this is a great step. Both the standard an AI motion detection on the G5 Pro is night and day better than what I've seen with Hikvision.
I wonder if there is a possibility that Ubiquiti is developing NAS software to run on the Protect chassis. They are NAS devices waiting for NAS software.
When can we see some new enterprise switches? Everyone would love to see some switches with 25Gbps oraz event 100 Gbps capability rather than some wall switch.
Impressive work so far! Gut my UX days ago, but missed the the info about the additional 4 device manage limit. Now im a little bit in mind struggle, cause i like the new 8.x.x software features a lot, so i want to know, when or if the UCK-G2 and UCK-G2+ getting the new 8.x.x. software.
completely agree regarding your frustration about the UX being able to manage only 4 other devices;; a couple of switches and AP and you're done. Why not allow the UX to be managed as a gateway by the UCK-G2? Why artificially segment the market like this?
Wow! You guys been going like mad dogs over there. Like the new addition of EdgeOS 3. Haven't seen any real updates of EdgeMax for like 10 years! Good job!
We would love protect - access as well as talk integration all into one. So I'm sitting at my desk, someone. rings a Protect doorbell or a access. keypad and it pops up on the phone that I can answer. Talk to them and open the door.! This would be an unprecedented system.
Welcome Back UInsider! Any "approximate" time frame for Unifi Talk in Australia? Product page states more regions in 2024... I want to start planning my talk+Access upgrades for 2024 and I want to expand on my existing unifi infrastructure. Pleaseee respond 🙏
Love it. But. Europe and the United Kingdom? The UK is part of Europe. Just not the European Union and Europe ≠ European Union. With the video alone, I am not sure if it's say valid in Switzerland, at the heart of Europe but not part of the European Union. Considering you used the EU flag there, I suppose it was meant to say European Union instead of Europe? ;) Just nitpicking. Still love you guys.
to bad they removed 24/7 recording without detections with the protect, love when company's remove features and call it an upgrade UI is fast becoming ja corrupt company next they will want a subscription for all the stuff you have.
Can you please clarify? We have not removed 24/7 recordings without detections. With Protect's local storage, we have no intentions of adding monthly licensing fees for your footage.
@FirstLastOne I assume you don't work in the corporate space where Windows totally dominates on the desktop and, in many turn key applications, especially if it involves AD integration In terms of cloud, MS are eating into AWS with azure, and it's growth is directly tied to its windows integration MS have cleverly gone after the developer space also, it's windows subsystem for Linux has a number of people using Windows doing functional build testing on Windows now Any company that ignores windows is really playing ignorant of the trends ahead, MS are using integration to bring together a lot of it's offerings and that's including Linux management over time Childish quips like winblows are funny at one level but ignorant on where the market is headed and why MS stock price is on an upwards trajectory Redhats latest move to take redhat source code behind a subscription wall is not doing opensource any favours I'm not an MS fanboi by any stretch, in fact, I've been very critical of them over the years, but they are not losing market share and azure continues to expand and take market share from Amazon and only fools play the game of picking one over the other, companies need to support both and play nice with both OS'S
Finally! Been missing these Ubiquiti insider videos. Can’t wait to see more featuring new gear 😊
Same

Audio, video, visualization, and UI on point!
Missed these! Bring these back!!
I now get extra excited when I see a new Ubiquiti video! Keep them coming!
3:46 My AVIATO! Love to see the Silicon Valley references
Yay 🎉 A graphical port manager!! My Christmas wish just came true!
Yes, videos are back!
See this as a great upgrade even for my small Farm system. adding features helps every level of the system one maybe using. Thanks🤩

Nice, but when will you finally implement basic networking features like NTP server support in UDM Pro for all clients in the network?
Just use the National Time Pool Project
Awesome. Now custom gifs for doorbell! 😅

Juat updated to a UDM Pro from a USG. Was an easy switch and I like the new changes with Network 8.
Love Ubiquiti - that's why
Way to go Ubiquiti!

Shame the pre shared keys feature disables the 6ghz band😢
Loving this!!!
Are there any plans to bring the EV Station with a Type 2 Charger for Europe?
Wow! You guys been going like mad dogs over there. Like the new addition of EdgeOS 3. Haven't seen any real updates of EdgeMax for like 10 years! Good job!
1:16 you would think that United Kingdom is in Europe but apparently not 🤣
Please allow the UX to be adopted/managed by UCK-G2+ as a gateway.
We would love protect - access as well as talk integration all into one. So I'm sitting at my desk, someone. rings a Protect doorbell or a access. keypad and it pops up on the phone that I can answer. Talk to them and open the door.! This would be an unprecedented system.
This is already possible.
👏
EdgeOS 3.0 ❤
Any plans to open a UI online store for Australia/New Zealand??
Yes please!!!
Due to poor supply in the past, a number of outlets are not pushing ubiquity equipment so getting product is hit and miss
My mind is blown!!! Multiple VLANS on the same SSID?

waiting for unifi ultra lineup
Hoping the WiFiman desktop app comes to Windows.
WiFiman Desktop will be available for Windows later this month (December 2023)
Nice 👍
@@UbiquitiInc thank you for keeping to your word. WiFiman Desktop on Windows works great.
I want the ev charger should I do the pro for my rental?
When will UnFi Talk arrive in Brazil?
Omg, did UI just teaser a new Dream Machine in a smaller format? 4:03
Nope
That's just the UISP console, which is basically the Dream Machine's equivalent in the UISP range.
Will the EV charger have a type 2 option for the rest of the world?
Stay tuned - we will have EV Station models with Type 2 connectors in the future.
Glad you couldn’t be bothered to add WiFiman to PC
WiFiman Desktop will be available for Windows later this month (December 2023).
With 100s of countries, I wouldn't exactly call that international

THIS. My 24/7 recording still works fine. No idea what this guy is talking about.@@UbiquitiInc
no wifiman windows??? wtf. who cares about apple stuff or linux.
WiFiman Desktop will be available for Windows later this month (December 2023).
The level of ignorance in your comment speaks volumes as to why you're still using WinBlows in this field.
@FirstLastOne
I assume you don't work in the corporate space where Windows totally dominates on the desktop and, in many turn key applications, especially if it involves AD integration
In terms of cloud, MS are eating into AWS with azure, and it's growth is directly tied to its windows integration
MS have cleverly gone after the developer space also, it's windows subsystem for Linux has a number of people using Windows doing functional build testing on Windows now
Any company that ignores windows is really playing ignorant of the trends ahead, MS are using integration to bring together a lot of it's offerings and that's including Linux management over time
Childish quips like winblows are funny at one level but ignorant on where the market is headed and why MS stock price is on an upwards trajectory
Redhats latest move to take redhat source code behind a subscription wall is not doing opensource any favours
I'm not an MS fanboi by any stretch, in fact, I've been very critical of them over the years, but they are not losing market share and azure continues to expand and take market share from Amazon and only fools play the game of picking one over the other, companies need to support both and play nice with both OS'S
