We have introduced a new Site Manager feature called “Vantage Point” which unleashes the scalability of the UniFi Protect application. With Vantage Point, multiple NVRs can be combined - independent of their physical location - to provide a consolidated management experience. Completely license free.

I think its a good time to remind you, we are still waiting for the fingerprint scanner to be enabled on the G4 Doorbell Pro 😅
And for ipv6 to work correctly...
And for ai 360 to have any ai funktions like face detection
We pay for the hardware yet they lock it out via firmware 🤙🏼🤙🏼
And for them honour cracking g4 doorbell buttons 😂
@@thehornedvikingyessss!
Fingerprint and NFC for the doorbell pro… bought it on release, still not one of the promised features delivered…
Auto gate-unlock with license detection is sweet!
what stops me from holding a sign with the same license plate to get access? I see this as a security risk
@@deewoo maybe coupled with the mobile app using geofencing? So that it'll only react to the license plate when you've recently arrived in the area, to prevent someone from using the license plate to enter when you're away or already in the building?
@@doughecka that is a option, but requires 200+ users to fee the app, and logged in. Kinda cumbersome
@@deewoo Yeah definitely not for high security locations but just a convenience.
@@deewoo They could potentially add additional contraints like vehicle type and color
Would still love to see HomeKey integration
Love my G5 PTZ my fav camera so far. Vantage point is huge for my customer amazing job Ubiquiti
Will you be doing a review on the PTZ soon?
@@jrmbtryou’ll see it up shortly :)
Watched your video review ealier on the PTZ and immediately ordered one. Can't wait to get it!
Access ultra looks really good. Not having to cram a hub into a wall cavity when you're short on space is going to be so nice
Omg multi door installs are going to be soooooo much cheaper by not having to route wiring from the doors back to the IT room to get to the hub. They basically crammed the whole hub into the Ultra? When Access Ultra G2 Reader Pro?! That would be the ultimate!!
What are you on? If you have a valid location to put an Access Ultra, then don't put access control there at all.
Anyone can just pull the reader out and activate the strike directly.
The fact that Ubiquiti released this product without at least plastering the product page with warnings has greatly shaken my confidence in them as a valid access control provider.
Well done Ubiquiti. I am glad that you are going towards the right direction and with the fact that there are no subscriptions.
Wait there arent any? I was just going to deploy a Ubiquiti system for door access only to find that they charge monthly you after 5 users are added. And I remembered people getting mad about it. And I cant find anyting on Ubiquiti's website confirming or denying this.
@@TheInternetLordUniFi Identity Enterprise is a subscription based service but you can use UniFi Access with no subscription.
You can have local users free for door access. multi-site and other some other features require a per user subscription
@@TheInternetLord On their Store on the Intercome webpage there is "FAQ" where last question is "Are there any fees or licensing requirements?" followed by unswer "Absolutely not. Our goal is to provide you a feature-rich environment without any hidden fees."

Just finally integrate the doorbell pro in access like you promised you would!
Did they promise they would? That would be awesome
@@Reedithwell, they promised in early access and at the beginning of the regular sales. Since then they quietly removed it from their website. The necessary components still are built in the doorbell though
I'm sure the long awaited G5 PTZ is great, but it sold out immediately so I'll have to wait. Vantage point is a huge step in the right direction.
Great stuff! A ton of really good releases here...
Now the long wait for these items to be generally available in the store.
Have to say, well done to the UI/UX team, that is a thing of beauty
Please re-work the firewall capabilities. Zone based firewalling is the defacto standard. Application identification and break and inspect are also important. Being able to restrict policies to specific applications etc.
Introduce BFD otherwise you can have fiber interfaces appear to be up on one side but be down on the other causing failover scenarios to fail as one of the devices wont see the link as down.
Great job on bringing in OSPF though! That was one of my many sticking points with the product lineup. Now just need to get it working over IPSEC with other vendors and we are golden.
PTZ! Finally a smaller one. Time to replace a few cameras
Love the updates. Well done guys!!!
Love the new hardware. We are considering taking on the Ubiquiti line for commercial installations... but have one question:
Should the network go down, is there a local database that stores cardholder information so that access can still be granted?
All i need now is the Keypad, Siren and Sensors....come on Ubiquiti!
Exactly. I've said this on the community before. The new intercom viewers would make excellent touch keypads. Now all we need is an "Alarm-Hub" and maybe Unifi Secure or something. Next level if it could integrate Access and Protect.
Access for arming and disarming at external readers, protect for alarm verification and or even AI people detection. How cool would recognised faces on AI cams for auto disarming (optionally of course for those who want more security) but yeah the motion sensors already exist all we need is a siren and a way to tie it all together.
Verkada have a pretty nice alarm product that ties in Alarm, Access control etc.
@@Shane3Loganthey already have all the hardware All they need to do is put all the software together and they would put ring out of business
@@Reedith Probably not, I still don't think it's very average "consumer" but definitely for SME and prosumers.
i migrated from a cisco environment to unify. Awesome and easy technology. I wish their support is a bit beefier but their tech is solid
Seriously, I love your company.
insane - great Job
When do we get the fingerprint on the G4 Doorbell Pro ???
This is a MASSIVE upgrade! Thank you! Will the License Plate detection have any other sort of security built in? Seems like it could be easily defeated, would love to know more!
only 3 sites ? :) please more
Awesome stuff!
Can you include lock control on Intercom please?
THE BEST! ❤❤
damn almost everything ive been waiting for now i just need them to make a new SolarPoint that works with the Gate system and cameras/Building bridge.
Thank you.
Keep crushing it Ubiquiti. Love the move toward gate access.
So what happened to the black version of the PTZ camera?
Now we only need something to trigger/sound alarm and it's perfect.
0:02 Is it just me or does that look like one of those scenes in the Death Star where all the storm troopers are at attention when the emperor arrives?
I might be misunderstanding but can vantage point be used for backing up video at another location?
@ubiquiti any chance we will see the longer theta cables.. afraid to install the box in my hot attic space
License free.. is one of the many reasons i love Ubiquiti. Its the apple of Network equipment for me.
Also unlike apple, i respect companies that have the comments enabled on their videos. Shows that they believe in their products.
What about the promised (up to) 30M cable for the AI theta? this has been promised 2 years ago and is still not available.. how long does it take to develop a cable?
I'd love to get excited but 3/4 of even your old range never makes it to Australia... I'm still waiting for PDU's and touch to be available... 😒
Heller
I don't need this, but I WANT THIS lol
tell me we can share " people's faces " across multiple site with vantage point .. please :)
I'd like to see a wireless solution for access instead of having to wire a bunch of locks to a hub or unifi device. something like a yale lock. that can communicate with all the ai devices. Like maybe an ai camera sees x person walk up to a door at a specific time of day so it tells the yale-like lock to open automatically.
What do i need for auto gate unlock??
Where do I sign?
start bringing more gear to australia we are still waiting on unifi talk in australia
Wow
Now we just need an home look for residential and im in paradise😂
Most innovative company and user consumer friendly. All other companies are just multiple layers of unnecessary complicated stuff.
I need nothing of this, still I want it all installed in my small house.
Please Ubiuquity, add toggle swtich on the dream machine se to turn off the white blinking port leds. I need to have my dream machine se in my bedroom and the leds are really bright at night. Im sure im not the only one who would make good use of a feature like this. Im guessing that you have one of the best programmers out there and it would be an easy task for him or her. Thanks
Why is it in your bedroom?
@@davstar because i still live with my parents
@@finn_h06 okay, that’s understandable. When you move out you can keep your setup at your parents house. Then you’ll have two servers.
best update
Ok, but like, why is the G5 PTZ just GLaDOS from Portal
Activate nas mode in pro max udm for 1 bay please:)
awesome, i just need to go rob the bank first
If Access would support wiegand input, I'd rip and replace all the access control systems I support on my dime in favor of UI. Need to be able to get RFID/Transcore data into Access and I'd be all in.
MAKE A NEW DOORBELL
Too bad vantage point can't be used with stacked NVRs... Every one of my sites that would use this has stacks
PLEASE RELEASE A NAS!!! Use the NVR chassis…
License plate recognition… Cool, but not very secure.
what about face recognition? will this ever come? this is the only thing that prevents me from buying unifi for access control
what i meant was using face recognition to unlock a door
So If I print on the paper somebody from the company his car plate, the system will let me in and out? 🤣
How can you skirt around an alarm system but not have an actual alarm system? Doing access control and cameras is great but I know many people are frustrated by the fact they still have to install a shitty old overly priced alarm just for it to take some hardwired inputs and have a strobe light/siren output. Please just make a Alarm IO module and intergrate it into protect. Then tell everyone they must have the system running on a UPS
Please get the basics sorted before adding the fluff
*HomeKey?? No? Then no. Lol next.*
expensive and will be forgotten
Don't buy this stuff if you live in the UK. The returns process is done by sending stuff to the Netherlands. Your products get customs charges for returns! This stuff is garbage! I was offered instore credits to cover the customs charges! I will not be buying more items to send to the Netherlands! Very poor customer service.
Hey Courtenay, We can confirm that all UK Orders and RMA returns should be processed locally, and not to be sent to the Netherlands where a custom fee is to be incurred. We located your RMA ticket ending in 843X and escalated to our manager to make this right. Thank you.
@@UbiquitiInc Oh a manager, nothing will be done. Your offer to reimburse the customs charges as in store credit are insulting!
The dumbest design access control hardware that I’ve ever seen..
All someone has to do to gain entry is pop off that access control from the wall; and either introduce 12 volts 300mah to the wires, or unplug the wires… depending on the lock type…🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
For 99% of the population who have no idea how access control works, this is a perfect solution for low security internal doors. It's more than enough to restrict access to designated staff to areas.
