I will show you how to change the oil and oil filter, how to change the fuel filter, and general maintenance. Doing this work yourself is a very easy way to save yourself a ton of time and money and give your John Deere riding mower a longer life span.

Great video! How do you override getting off the seat and the lawn mower still runs? I have a D160 myself.

Press the left pedal all the way in and slide the orange handle at your left knee up/down until the handle locks and then you can get off and idle.
