@@animealpha4795 what do you expect in a 100 dollar watch. I legit have a 20 year old Seiko 5 that was purchased for 80 dollars and it hasn't been serviced once. After removing some magnetism it still runs at just +15 seconds. Name any brand other than Seiko and citizen that can produce a watch like that at that price
But the pvd coating will at the end of the day be it's downfall. Hairline scratches would be visible a mile away and will overall destroy the beauty of it. Have it on a steel hardware and replace the strap with a black nato band and it will be phenomenal.
@@officiallycxrsxd5246 sure. Nobody is really buying mechanical watches for their underwater capabilities. It’s more about peace of mind for the wearer. 3 dollar watches can tell better time than a Patek but that’s not the point.
@@StevenMcPeterbilt i just dont have 800$ for one of these beauties, sadly. i would love to own one, but for now ill get a cheaper seiko around 200$ to fit my budget, still very enjoyable. the casio is mainly to wear at work since its cheap and accurate.
Wild, illogical comment. Any automatic Seiko is better than their quartz watches UNTIL you get to the Grand Seiko quartz movements liike the 9F62 and beyond.
@@johnsullivan518 Err... nope. Properly made quartz is always better. And not only just better, but infinitely better. Mechanical watches are obsolete. They belong to the past.

The alpinest with that green dial is such a nice watch.
Yes it is a very nice piece
Many seem to be of the opinion that this one is one of the least alpinest of the Alpinists.
Looks nice, but it's too tall imo
I notice when I wake up in the early morning the watches are still glowing ever so slightly. Amazing.
Just recently bought the night vision alpinist and I absolutely love it. That lume is like always glowing night or day.
Love the Alpinist 🌳
nothing beats the look of the Alpinist. i could get a hunfred more watches and still not have anything that looks as good as this watch does.
Those two are beautiful. What are their serial numbers?
i love the one with a green dial
What a “very slightly” great video !
The lume at the 7th hour marker on mine stopped working. Everything else works fine
Whats the different between Prospex, Sports, Presage?
Sports is like a low end watch, prospex is more mid end version of sports, and presage is more like dress watch type
Price
Seiko is the most honest watch brand.

15 minutes of glow?.... You're just going to need a flashlight...
what is 20 bar translated to atm?
200 meters of water resistance
@@StevenMcPeterbilt thank you, idk if id get this though, 50$ casio has the same level of water resistance

Just get radio active
Very slightly
I had my eyes set on this prospex model, but those damn cyclops ruined these for me. Everything else is perfect in these watches, for me.
That's what i love about it lol
Dude watch price? Always show price
The price is in the video above the watches - but you probably missed it. SPB121 $725 and SPB337 $925.
I was not wondering, bye
But you watched the whole thing and commented anyway
Alpinist is such a great looking watch, but a crap quality with mechanical movement.
A proper solar quartz Alpinist would be glorious.

Over priced sorry
Way too expensive
Seiko are the masters of ripping their customers off.
Ball watches use trivium tubes just like your night sights on most pistols. I love mine, the whole damn bezel lights up.
