    Hi Dave, greetings from Kentucky.
    Good to see you posting.
    Your tractor is family. You have many adventures with more in the future.
    Take care

      Thanks Clinton, always good to hear from you! Hope all is well over there. I'd love to see Kentucky some time! I've only seen Calafornia and up the North East Coast.

      I love hay time Krish, brings back fond memories from my childhood, it was always one of my favourite events of the year, as well as the time I used to be allowed to drive the tractors 🙂

    MM77 Approved 👍🏼👍🏼……….. WOW, square bales. When I was a teenager, ( late 1970’s ) that’s what I did for summer work was put up hay! Then all the farmers in the area started rolling round bales and put me and my buddies out of work. Some times progress runs you over!LOL!

    • @davesworkshop2714
      @davesworkshop2714  2 года назад +1

      Square bales are rarely used here either now, in fact finding someone to bale them can be an issue. I wish I'd got footage of it, a '71 Ford 5000 with an old JD baler. We used to make thousands of them every year up into the mid '90s when we switched to round bales of sileage for the cattle. We demolished the old hay shed to make room for the extended workshop shortly after. The storage building I'm using now has no entrance to get a tractor in so it's back to small bales. They are useful in bad weather too instead of tearing up the grass with a tractor to feed outside.

      You must have your notifications off! That would be good, and I could use the help lol. I'm going to try and get the videos out more consistently. The last few months have been mental at work. I have a few new videos almost ready to go so I'm hoping to have something up again in the next few days.

      I can’t seem to find out how to turn on notifications, but I am very excited to see more videos from you! I would love to see a good video of the cat working, digging, digging stumps…ect I think that would get a bunch of views putting it to work! I also like your tractor video like this were you worked on it and then showed it working! People like you are what keep this world going I wish there were more people like you in it! Thanks again for the shout out! If my channel gets a little bigger I won’t forget about you 😄

    Very good video!great tractor too!🚜,i used to drive one myself exactly like yours, lovely tractor to drive!,6610 is my favourite 4 cylinder Ford tractor, ive 2 Ford tractors myself a 1977 3600 Q,and a 1991 4630 SQ,2wd,shuttle change, straight 3, .best of luck with your 6610 SQ!🚜👍🤝

      Those ford 3 cylinders were streets ahead of the 4s. Never suffered porous blocks etc i believe. I've never driven one with a Q or SQ on. Does the weight impact it much? Never realised they came with a shuttle box! Thanks for watching 🙂👍
