Oohh! Def a departure from your usual color schemes! This was gorgeous and lovely! I really like how it turned out. I know I'd be a little paranoid with the color scheme, but I'm not often the sort to experiment with color, haha. While I do enjoy modern art, back when I was attending art school, I knew I hated general post-modern art. But, I do love surreal art. I got to see some of Magritte's art in person, and very lovely to see. It's been a while since I've thought about artists and their arts. I know there'a few american ones I've enjoyed over the years... But most recently for a queer arts class, I learned of Kent Monkman. Gorgeous work that takes classic arts and queers them and decolonizes them. A lot of them are NSFW but also very provacative. The one that I wrote an essay on was Resurgence of the People in 2019.
Love these! I also love Magritte and Hopper. As well as Picasso, my fave, and my fave painting of his is Guernica. I saw it in person, it is overwhelming. 😊
Love your spread! I'm not really into art, so I don't know the names of the artists, but I have seen some of the art as general knowledge. I loved how even thought it was not a spooky spread it still gives fall vibes. You don't need oranges and browns to make a perfect October spread. Amazinf as always!

I hadn't heard of Kent Monkman, so I just checked them out. Amazing work, thanks for sharing! I love the idea of queering traditional art.
This is such a unique and different theme. I absolutely loved this and watching you draw all the panels was so relaxing.
Thank you so much 😀 Glad you enjoyed it!
Absolutely fascinating and gorgeous! Thanks so much for teaching me about Yayoi Kusama. My favorite art are the murals all over Puerto Rico.
Thank you for watching!

Oh yeah, Guernica is a powerful one! I haven't had the opportunity to see it in person though.
