All three are great~ As much as I love the color pop style of the last one, the inky sketchy layout is def my fave of the three.

My reading has been up and down, but overall read more this year than the last few years (fanfiction aside) so pretty content with that.

Ahh, finally got a chance to watch. Love how you did the wreath, and yeah it's been a trying past few weeks. Raised Latinx catholic so we tend to celebrate Christmas seriously, but things have waned since my grandmother died who really led in all things Christmasy. So we don't do much anymore, not as much room or energy to do so. Mostly now, just my friend's having a holiday party and exchanging gifts is what I look forward to. Parents always worked Thanksgiving so that's been also very lowkey the last few years. Thank you for the tip on using paint pen over color pencils, didn't think about that before. Excited to see the next book layout~

Belated Dia de los Muertos too! Also congrats on sticking with inktober all month~ I sorta dressed up on Halloween as I was doing a charity ttrpg oneshot stream. So I mixed my Sally Dress with a black and white wig and some dia de los muertos roses and veils and makeup to be like a Zombie Apocalypse survivor heh. Really loved how you stuck to black/white color theme and yet used very fall iconography that would normally be full of browns and oranges and dark greens. Also, I appreciate the chattiness of the video. Really loved the spread.

Those are lovely pomegranites! I only ever ate them once in middle school after we learned the Persephone & Hades story. Didn't care for them, but they are pretty. I do appreciate the stylized coloring, especially for shadows. When I did drawing and painting back in the day, I tended to stick to realistic colors, though I *love* alternate color pallates. I haven't been reading as much either, mostly shorter middling romance novellas, as I try to focus on job hunt and end of the year projects. Still reading more than I have in the last few years so there's something~ Hope you have a good reading month~

Usually I understand what literary or academic references you use, but that one went right over my head. I haven't checked out Electric State, but I have encountered the artist before.
